SPATS has been the shyest of the group since day one. The first days in foster found her crouched behind the toilet, nervous and distrustful. But now? We truly think that she will be the most loyal and affectionate cat of them all! She has learned that humans are actually pretty awesome and she always wants to be near them. She is also one of the most playful and energetic of the bunch. She especially loves to carry toys around in her mouth. Spats has a very loud purr!

UGGS always looks a little sad, but he definitely isn’t! His little eyes have a slight downturn on the sides which make him look so endearing. He is another kitten who looks like he wants to speak to you! Uggs makes himself quietly known. When he wants some attention he will just come up and look at you softly, possibly with a silent meow. He is a lovely boy who loves to wrestle with his siblings. He is very gentle and calm, although he does love to play, too!

LOAFER is the “runt” of the litter and also the most hilarious kitten ever. He kinda looks like he was struck by lightning with his wild fur going every direction. He is a soft buff orange with a little pink nose, and a total charmer. He thinks he is much bigger than he is, and realizes it every time he tries to jump on a chair or couch. When Loafer plays he bounces around like a bunny, punctuating each hop with a little squeak. You probably can’t handle the cuteness.

FLIP FLOP has the most beautiful face and she looks like she wants to actually talk to you when she looks into your eyes! She is known in her foster family for having the most adorable sleeping positions. She could be a kitten calendar model because she always falls into the prettiest, cutest poses as she naps. Flip Flop is probably the calmest of the bunch and loves a good booty scratch. She loves to play … and nap. Because it’s cute.

Another Chihuahua, Eve, and I were lost on Sahuarita Road—two little dogs in great big trouble! A busy road on one side and the unknown on the other left us with no safe place to go. Thank heavens, a kind person spotted us and brought us here. In this new place with strangers, we were scared and shy at first. But I’m feeling much better now, making new friends, and sometimes when I nap, I have a big dream. You probably know what it’s about—a cozy, comfy home, where I’m safe and get to play and cuddle with my person. I’m a young Chihuahua mix male, black and beige, just 10 pounds, and friends say I have the sweetest face ever. Could you be the one to make my dream come true?

There’s only one thing they can say for sure about me: I was found dodging traffic on Duval Mine Road, so I’ve undoubtedly used up at least one of my nine lives! I was a little “shell shocked” when I arrived, but now I’m finding that being “out and about” is great fun. I’m a sweet, mellow guy who’s welcomes attention, enjoys petting and nice quiet chats with the volunteers (they say you can “do anything” with me!). I pretty much ignore other cats (humans are ever so much nicer!), so let’s get together and talk about how wonderful it would be to have a warm safe home, ‘cause I’m definitely up for that!

The number one thing my mom said about me is “he loves EVERYONE!” Also, “He’s absolutely the friendliest cat ever. He especially loves children and is very gentle and understanding of his size when he plays with them. He’s needy, but will sleep with his brother, Muneca, if he can’t have you. He wants to be held all the time and loves tummy rubs and nose scratches.” I lived with my family almost all of my 5½ years, but when the two-year-old developed respiratory issues, my brother and I had to move on. I’m being positive though, and have high hopes I’ll be given the chance to share all my wonderful qualities with another family.

Mom said, “He’s a wonderful, sweet boy who’s shy at first, but warms up quickly, loves to be held, and will sleep on your lap for hours. He likes to lie across your shoulders and purr in your ear. He’s needy, but will sleep with his brother, Tigre, if he can’t have you.” I lived happily with my family almost all of my 5½ years, but when the two-year-old developed respiratory issues, my brother and I had to move on. As a kitten I was discovered with other strays in a boat! Not having early nurturing, I developed a habit of “nursing” on fuzzy things. My human family, which included a 10-year-old child and 2 large dogs, thought it better that I try a new environment, even though I got along well with all of them. Well, I’ve been at TALGV for a while and there has been no evidence of my previous bad habit. Please come meet me! You may find me on top of a cat condo where I will greet you with open paws so you can pet me, curling into your arms. My desire is to be loved by you!

Striking – that’s the only word that describes my markings! If you’re into orange (and I mean ORANGE – thus my name!) and you’re into silky long hair and a personality that doesn’t quit, you can look forever and never find a guy who fits that bill. Given the pleasure I take in people (with all the petting and love they give!), it’s impossible that I wasn’t someone’s beloved pet once, but since no one’s claimed me, grab this once-in-a-lifetime chance to be the one I shower my love on. I can tell from all the oohs and aahs that it’s guaranteed I won’t be here too long so get crackin’ and come on by!

Hi… my name is Lana (aka Luna),

Who doesn’t love a pretty face? Well, I’ve got that and so much more! I’m a gentle girl who loved the kids, meeting new people, schmoozing with my feline housemate, and, according to my mom, am very “mild tempered.” My problem was that I didn’t get along with the “man of the house” and showed my displeasure in a most unladylike manner. I guess sometimes people just rub you the wrong way (but who knows, maybe I wasn’t totally to blame!), so the price I paid was losing the rest of the family. I know in my heart that I’ll make a great addition to your family, so a chance is all I ask.
