“Plays with anything that moves” gives you an idea of my energy level, and at only 18 months, that shouldn’t be surprising! A friend gave me to my mom, and unfortunately they soon discovered that her grandson was allergic to me, so I only got to live with them for a few months. But in that short time, I easily endeared myself to them with my “outgoingness” and ability to get along (and play) with the dog (you just have to show them who’s boss!). I also love looking out windows and being/cuddling with you, so there are oodles of years ahead for us to spend quality time together. Don’t wait – let’s get started now!

I think women who need to lose weight often dream of their slender days of youth, and I’m no exception! When I left TALGV, I was a willowy gal and quite proud of my girlish figure, but after living with my recently passed away mom and dad (who might have thought that food equals love!), I’ve added a few extra pounds. I’m still the affectionate, playful lady with a sweet disposition I always was though, and love chasing stuffed mice, batting small aluminum balls around, watching birds, being talked to, and sleeping on your lap or in bed, so won’t you help me implement a weight-watching program so I can do more of that with you?

PS I am keeping the photos of the slimmer me in my gallery; they will be my goal for the future.

“This cat began frequenting our yard last winter. He disappeared in the spring, and then showed up again, thin and dirty, so we gave him food and brought him to TALGV. He may have belonged to people in the neighborhood behind us, and our concern is that they moved and took him, but he came back to where he thought his home was.” Well, I guess that’s as good a story as any, but I’d like to add that I’m enjoying the good life here for now, but would sure like a home of my own again where I won’t have to worry about my next meal and I can get lots of much-deserved love!

“Good with other cats, dog friendly, loves to sleep with you.” They checked all the other important boxes too: playful, outgoing, “meeter and greeter,” and easygoing, so what more could you want? My half-sister, Charlotte, and I only lived with our human mom for four months before she died, but we added a lot of joy to her life in that short time. I’m a 6-month-old teenager, who’s full of feline joie de vivre, and, not to toot my horn, but I think I’m perfect in every way! I’d simply adore it if you’d give me (and maybe Charlotte, too) a home where we’ll be one big happy family for years and years to come.

After my mom died in a car accident, it was lucky for my six feline and two canine housemates that her mom could find homes for them, but I guess she just ran out of animal-loving friends to take us in, ‘cause I didn’t quite “make it.” It’s tough having to adjust to a whole new life so precipitously, but I’m really trying, and “grandmom” said that I’m a real sweetheart, love to sit with you for cuddling, “eat everything” (even so, I could stand to add a few pounds!), and get along with everyone. Seven years I lived with my wonderful mom who just went into assisted living. Seven years that included lots of love, many shared mornings perusing the paper over coffee, afternoons sitting in a chair and helping her knit (THAT was fun!), evenings watching TV, and plenty of other “stuff” to keep me occupied and content. I’m going to miss all that, but I know that given my personality (and superb good looks and loving nature) someone else is going to fill that void in my life just like I’ll do for them. I’ve never been around kids, but I’m guessing I’d be just fine with them. I’m a longhaired orange and white boy who’ll win your heart in the blink of an eye!

I’m so happy and lively, exuberant could be my middle name! Or joyful, or friendly—I’ll let you choose! My former owner had to give me up due to her own health issue, but had good things to share about me. For instance, she found me to be good with adults and children (gentle and tolerant with an 11-year-old at home); and I’ve loved meeting new people! She described me as loyal and protective, too; at home, the commands I knew well were “sit, settle, heel and stay.” I was good in the house when alone (had a doggie door), and, of course, I love playing with my toys. Born in December 2017, I’m a sweet, strong, high-spirited female who needs one thing to be happy forever: a loving home with you!
