Hi… my name is Tuaca,

Adopted with Kucing 8-18-19

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

It’s just SO depressing when one of your people isn’t enormously fond of you, but that’s what happened for me (and my friend, Kucing). After my beloved dad died, mom immediately brought us here because she “didn’t like cats” and no longer wanted to care for us. Well, I’m betting there are LOTS of cat people around who’d love to have a sweet, 14-year-old gentleman like me (who has vet care support for life) so I’m tossing my hat in the adoption ring in hopes that you’ll fall really hard (it won’t be tough ‘cause I’m a real lover!). That’s not going to happen though unless you come meet me, so get a move on!

Hi… my name is Sharpie,

Adopted 6-5-19

When a death in my family required an emergency move out of state, they couldn’t take me, so I’m back at TALGV after a wonderful year of “living the dream.” I’m a super loving boy who got along great with the kids (ages 2, 4, and 8) and a Chihuahua (he got to go, lucky guy). Well, Mom said I’m frightened of boxes and travel crates, so maybe that’s why a long car trip wasn’t in my future! Anyway, I know I’ll be a grand addition to your life – I love sleeping in bed with you, am not picky about food, and adore attention – so won’t you give me a new start in “the good life”?

Hi… my name is Roxie,

Adopted 5-24-19

Because sometimes even the best intentions lead to problems, I ended up living with many other dogs, all in need of new homes. In my case, I’m also in need of some extra confidence because I’m shy and not always sure the world will be kind. Of course, since I’m just a young adult, I love to play and have fun, too. Not too long ago, I had a doggie best friend, so I know how good that feels—it’s enough to make you happy! Luckily for her, she’s been adopted, so I know that can happen for me—someone kind and loving will take me home, and I’ll have the chance to enjoy life with a new human best friend! If that could possibly be you, won’t you please come visit me today?

Adopted 5-28-19

ALTAIR is a handsome, playful, and quiet 5-year-old, 73-pound, Lab mix male who would get more attention in a home with fewer animals. He is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained (will use doggy door). He knows basic obedience training but responds best to “BALL.” He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Altair loves to play with tennis balls and in water. He can be shy at first with strangers and is not comfortable in crowded situations, but your patience will be rewarded with his loyal companionship.

There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Altair into a loving home as part of your family, please call Barbara between 4 PM and 8 PM at 520-975-1339 or text any time.

Hi… my name is Richie,

Adopted with Joanie 8-16-19

I was found with my best dog friend, Joanie, and you could say we just appeared out of the blue. We were strays—I had no ID, no microchip—and we were hungry. Each of us was too thin, dirty, and in need of human kindness, which we have received in abundance here (along with an extra meal every day for a while). Today, I’m happy, feeling good, and looking Boxer-handsome. And all along—from the very first day—I’ve been an exceptionally sweet guy. Whether it’s with Joanie or with people, I’m loyal and loving; a dog who likes to give and get affection. And if you enjoy fun at playtime, we have that in common! So let’s meet—you, Joanie and me—and see if there’s a happily-ever-after for all of us together!

Hi… my name is Joanie,

Adopted with Richie 8-16-19

Today, I’m a gentle, extraordinary dog—best friends with Richie, one of the sweetest canines ever—with a story to share. Back in 2017, a wonderful man, who knew my life had been hard, gave me extra attention. Over time, he’d done this for 45 dogs (!), and said I became one of the best dogs they’d ever had—“quiet, mellow, well behaved, and very social with other dogs.” But when they returned to Minnesota, I was adopted to someone else. What happened next is uncertain, but somehow Richie and I ended up as hungry strays, lucky to be here today. My friends say I now deserve my happily-ever-after, and I say Richie does, too. So if your heart guides you to us, I promise we’ll gladly bring our grateful love to your life forever.
