Bellissima

When I was a mama cat in Illinois a nice person rescued me and my babies, saving us from a very cold winter. I moved with them to Arizona and according to them, I was a real cuddle bug. I slept in their bed and was good about using a scratching post. I’m not fond of dogs but I did have a feline roommate. They say I’m on the nervous side, especially during storms, and I’m shy with strangers. Here I’ve been sleeping in a cubby, but I like it when someone pets me. Can you come meet me and draw me out? I’d like to come out of my shell.

Help me, please, I cried! I was lost, and on a roof top. I jumped up there to get away from some predator that wanted to invite me to dinner – with me being the main course! A kind man rescued me and brought me to The Animal League. Meals have been regular here and I’m grateful. The life of a stray can have its challenges. Despite all the drama, I’m a friendly girl who leans into pets. My fur is a bit coarse, so I’d welcome some regular grooming, please. I do have gorgeous green eyes that smile. I lived my whole life with a nice couple—they adopted me as a kitten in 2010. Now my family is unable to care for me any longer, so I’m looking for a new home where I can spend my senior years. I come with Vet Care Support for Life, which eases the potential burden for my new family. I’m also declawed. Here at The Animal League I’ve been sleeping on a high perch in the senior section of the facility. The volunteers say that I like petting, brushing and scratching.
