Hi… my name is Daisy,

Claimed by deceased owner’s family 3-23-24

For five glorious years I lived with my human mom (that’s my entire life!). She and I were great companions with few adults or children visiting. We lived a quiet lifestyle. Sadly, she passed away and I was brought here by her sons who doubted I would blend in with their households of other animals. They couldn’t share much about my playfulness but said I was shy with strangers and independent. Indeed, volunteers are calming me to my new surroundings and showing me the kindness of cat-lovers. So, if you would like a lovely feline lady companion who relishes a quiet home, please come meet me. We just might be right for each other!

Hi… my name is Some-A,

Adopted by previous owner 4-21-24

If you think I got my name based on the fact that I’m “some- a-this and some-a-that” breed, you’d be right! I’m 100% unique: from my expressive eyes to my gorgeous coat and build, it all adds up to the one-of-a-kind, stunning me! I’m athletic, bubbly, eager to please, and would likely excel in agility. My manners are impeccable. I love going for walks with my two- and four-legged friends. Once I decide you are one of ‘my people,’ I’m the most loyal, loveable girl you’ll ever meet. All I ask from you is to give me time to earn my trust. My devotion is proof that anything worth having is worth working for. Come spend some time with me and see for yourself. I guarantee your heart will melt.

Max

Adopted 4-8-24

MAX is a friendly, sweet, and obedient 10-year-old, 36-pound, Whippet male that needs a new home. His female companion Whippet died last Fall and his senior owners died recently. He is great on a leash, is house trained (asks to go out), and likes to use a doggy door. He is neutered, in good health, and up to date on shots. He has gotten along with children over age 9 and female dogs, but he really dislikes cats. The ideal home for Max would be with another whippet, a yard, and a doggy door. He is a loving and loyal companion that needs someone who is mostly at home. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Max into a loving home as part of your family, please call Barbara between 8 AM and 6 PM at 520-326-2170.
