Hi… my name is Otis,

Adopted 5-26-25

“Found in the neighborhood today.”  That’s what my rescuer said. At my age, I certainly must have had a home of my own before I was “found in a neighborhood.” But alas, I won’t be able to tell you about my past. My present is looking much better since I’m at The Animal League waiting to be adopted. I’m one handsome fellow with distinct markings. Dark stripes around my eyes with rings around my neck, legs and back adorn my cuddly fur coat. Cuddly I am! Just scratch my head or chin and I’ll curl around for more petting. I hope my future includes your caring home. We just have to meet!

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Marley,

Adopted 6-14-25

Double whammy! First, I lost the only human I’ve known when he went into hospice care. Then my feline friend was adopted from The Animal League. We had been such an agreeable team. I slept with my human dad. At times I was kitten-like during playtime. I could be laid back, then outgoing once I got to know visitors. Volunteers are wooing me out of my hiding here as I adjust to my new surroundings. I appreciate them! One calls me “a love of a love.” I’ll try to live up to that if you meet me. I long for human companionship. How about it? Are you ready for me?

Hi… my name is Chili,

Adopted 8-10-25

Are you ready to spice up your life with a wonderful feline? My previous person sadly had to relinquish me due to her health issues. I had lived with her my entire life. She said that I used to love sitting on her lap. I was a great companion! I DO need a quiet environment. No children, please. It’s just my loving way to devote myself to my human. How I miss her. Please check me out the next time you’re at The Animal League. You’ll find me perched on a cat tree looking out the window. I bet you have a window at your house that would be perfect for me!

Hi… my name is Brainteaser,

Adopted with Flip Flop 2-14-26

I was rounded up along with a couple of girlfriends and kittens, and I can’t tell you what my life was like before. Right now I’m not happy being here, and I express that by hiding in a corner and hissing.    I can’t really complain about the food, though, and I am safe. Hopefully in time my attitude will warm up a bit once I realize how much better off I am.  I’m a pretty grey tabby girl. For now I could use a quiet home with a human that has patience to spare. I promise I’ll try my best!

Hi… my name is Bananagram,

Adopted 6-9-25

I was rounded up along with a couple of buddies and kittens, and I can’t tell you what my life was like before. I’m just glad I’m here now! You might say that the way to my heart is through my stomach. I’ve been pretty scared since arriving but will greet those kind people bringing me food. I’m happy that they keep it coming, and the volunteers are able to stroke me with a toy wand without me freaking out. I’m calming down quite a bit. I think I’m a quite beautiful Siamese and could use someone to keep my long coat brushed. Is that you?

Hi… my name is Frankie,

Adopted 9-8-25

My owner gave me up and now I’m looking for another chance at a happy home life. I’m a beautiful grey tabby with white on my face and chest, and gorgeous blue eyes reflecting my Siamese side. TALGV volunteers say I “lean into” petting and scratching, and I like to survey my room from a high cubby on the wall. I’m just getting used to things, I guess. Will you come meet me and get acquainted? I’m betting we could find some common ground, of the “you pet me, I purr” variety. I’ll wait for you in my room, just look up high.

Hi… my name is Lenny,

Adopted 6/1/25

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

People don’t understand what it’s like to be as small as me. I love people, I love laps, and I especially love sitting on people’s laps! I am a very sweet boy but, because I’m so small, I need people to go slowly when they first meet me and earn my trust. I am a favorite among the ladies here because I don’t bark a lot and I walk well on a leash; in fact, I love to please. I am an older gentleman seeking the security and comfort of a home (without children). I like a quiet life where I can cuddle with my person and relax. If you earn my trust, I promise I’ll pay you back with a lifetime of loyalty and love. I also come with Vet Care Support for Life.
