Hi… my name is Simba.

Adopted February 13, 2016

If you’re dreaming of a feline friend who’ll entertain, cuddle, and purr his way into your heart, then your dreams are about to come true! My mom adopted me when I was just a bouncing baby, but when her son (my primary “caregiver”) moved into a place that didn’t allow pets, and she was going to be traveling for six months, I had to come back so I could find another human to love. Mom said that I was an easy rider who loved to play with toys (hey, I’m still a kitten!), liked to sleep on top of the fridge (we cats love high places!), and was a real “no sweat” guy. Well, they’re saying that “orange is the new black,” so why not take me home and find out!  (PS – Hope you like my baby picture… the last one in the gallery.)

Hi… my name is Angel,

Adopted February 3, 2016

You know how Frank Sinatra used to be called “old blue eyes”? Well, my brother, Marvin, and I could well be called “old yellow eyes” (except that we’re not old at just one year!). Our mom had us since birth, and loved the dickens out of us, but when her health declined to the point that she needed help in her home, she simply couldn’t care for both of us, another cat (our mom), and her dogs too. Being teenagers, and still playful as all get out, she knew that we’d blend into another family in a jiffy. We got along great with her small dogs, but when the big ones visited, we made ourselves scarce, so a home with “little creatures” would be perfect for us. I’m betting yours would be just the ticket!

Hi… my name is Shiva,

Adopted February 9, 2016

When my unfortunate mom had to go into a homeless shelter, it wasn’t just the calamitous change in her life that devastated her; it was losing her dogs and cats. So knowing that, I hope my friends, Thomas, Baya, and I, can be forgiven for being at sixes and sevens for a while. Mom did say, “Don’t let their anxiety scare you, they are all very friendly and lovable, good with dogs and people, and just want forever families.” As a boy who’s lived with all kinds of critters, you can be sure that once I’ve adjusted to the upheaval in my life, going back to being the loving companion I always was, won’t take more than having a lap, a safe haven, and YOU to make my world right again!

Hi… my name is Mack,

Adopted April 9, 2016

Based on our names, it would appear that semi trucks might have been on my family’s mind when they adopted my brother, Diesel, and me! Well, we both do “truck along” when comes to playing and having lots of energy, so maybe they knew something long before our personalities emerged! We’ve lived with our people (and three dogs that we adored) all our lives, but when twins arrived, they felt we were just too “into” them for comfort (we wanted to spend all our time sleeping with them!), so being the outgoing fellows we are, they knew another lucky family would enjoy our hijinks as much as they did. Mom said I love laser lights, toys, and the occasional cuddle, so if you’re in the market for entertainment, I’m your guy!

Hi… my name is Saby,

Adopted May 20, 2016

Having survived in the wild for a while (well, Sahuarita isn’t exactly “wild,” but you get my drift!), you can understand how I might be a smidge shy with new people at first. I was found, along with my three babies, when they were only a few weeks old and we were cared for until “the kids” were old enough to be adopted. Our rescuers found homes two of them, but since the family was moving, they had to bring my daughter, Caper, and me here. I’m a sweet, beautifully marked calico lady who enjoys serious petting (once I get to know you!) and, as my human mom said, “she’ll eat absolutely anything!” So all I need is a little bit of time, a whole lot of love, and you to make my life complete!
