I’m a lot to love! Yes, I’m a tad overweight, but you know how it is: stress eating when the only human I’ve ever lived with was diagnosed with a terminal disease. It was a sad parting. She got me when I was a kitten and named me Hazel. However, since there was already a cat at The Animal League by that name, I became Layla. (I bet I’ll come to you no matter what name you use!) Quite a lovely lady I am! You MUST come meet me. I’ll rub against your leg to be petted. I’m proud of my ultra-soft, pretty fur coat and tufted paws. For my entire life I lived with my humans. When my human dad became ill, my mom decided I should find a new home where I could be the center of attention. In the past, I’ve lived with dogs, but children are a no-no.
