Hi… my name is Candy,

Adopted 5-24-26

I am proof that candy can be good for you! I’m a heeler mix with a playful spirit and a sweet, thoughtful side. I’m learning all my “good dog” skills in foster care—sleeping through the night (sometimes playing quietly with a toy first), settling nicely in my crate, and even beginning leash practice. I love toys and games—ask me about my Ice Cube Game! I can entertain myself, but I also enjoy time with my people. Potty training is in progress, and I’m learning my basic commands more each day.  I am a puppy, after all—I don’t come with a “self-training” setting. With love, guidance, and consistency, I’ll grow into the very best companion—and we’ll build an incredible bond along the way. I’ll bring the sweetness.

Hi… my name is Flower,

Adopted by foster 6-2-26

Found pregnant, scared, and covered in cactus (zero stars! I do not recommend), I came to TALGV and raised ten beautiful puppies. Now my babies have grown up, and it’s finally my turn to be someone’s baby. I’m a sensitive, soulful girl who bonds closely with my people—laundry helper, dishwashing assistant, and happy hiking buddy. I walk beautifully on leash and greet you with full-body wiggles every time. My hobbies include squeaky-toy fetch, belly rubs, brushing, chewing a good bone, and chasing butterflies like my own nature show. I’m gentle with kids and eager to please with kind, consistent guidance. Fun fact: I’ll need a secure yard with a wall over four feet to keep me safe. My “mom” days are finally over, now I’m ready to belong to my own forever family – perhaps with you?

Hi… my name is Breezy,

Adopted 6-1-26

I would love to live up to my name and breeze right into your life, ready to give and receive affection!  I’ve known the life of a stray and thankfully had a nice home after that. I will approach visitors to my room and rub their legs. I love petting and brushing, which I really need because my coat is long. I will purr my thank yous! I get along with my feline roommates here but I like to sleep alone in a cubby. If you come with a toy, I will likely play with you. Come on by; let’s get acquainted!

Hi… my name is Mila,

Adopted 6-6-26

I’m a quiet tan sweetheart with a gentle soul and a world-class talent for getting cozy. I’m not the type to demand the spotlight — I prefer soft moments, kind people, and a really good back scratch. Give me a few loving rubs, and I’ll melt faster than ice cream on an Arizona summer sidewalk. Once I feel safe and comfy, I curl myself into a ball like a warm cinnamon roll with paws. It’s adorable, and yes, I know it. I’m calm, loving, and happiest when I’m close to someone who appreciates the sweeter, quieter things in life. Think of me as your personal cuddle companion with excellent manners and soulful eyes. If your home could use more warmth, peace, and gentle love, I would fit right in beside you perfectly.

Hi… my name is Shamrock,

Adopted 6-2-26

Would you like some good luck? Maybe I can bring it to you. I love attention and I am a lap cat. I purr, purr, purr.  I will always have a limp because of an old injury (perhaps hit by a car), but that doesn’t slow me down when I run and play. I’m resilient! Although my face may be a little crooked, I eat well. In my previous home I tried my best to get out the door (sometimes succeeding). The best situation for me is to have a screened-in catio or a window seat to allow me to view the outdoors safely. I’m sweet and energetic, just waiting to meet you!

Hi… my name is Callie (aka Saby),

Adopted 5-31-26

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Having survived in the wild for a while (well, Sahuarita isn’t exactly “wild,” but you get my drift!), you can understand how I might be a smidge shy with new people at first. I was found, along with my three babies, when they were only a few weeks old and we were cared for until “the kids” were old enough to be adopted. Our rescuers found homes two of them, but since the family was moving, they had to bring my daughter, Caper, and me here. I’m a sweet, beautifully marked calico lady who enjoys serious petting (once I get to know you!) and, as my human mom said, “she’ll eat absolutely anything!” So all I need is a little bit of time, a whole lot of love, and you to make my life complete!   (2-2016)
