I’m a beauty, no doubt about it! I lived with a couple and was tolerant of children. I got along with the other cat and dog in the home. For some reason, they gave me a boy’s name Tom which was changed at The Animal League. Thankfully! We calicoes are particular about such things. I’m not a picky eater and love to play with kitty toys, especially when my human is at the end of a wand toy. I can sleep anywhere. I may need time to warm up to strangers, especially to be held. After I was lassoed in a “community cat” roundup, they discovered that I wasn’t at all feral, had probably been someone’s loving companion, and was definitely not a candidate for “the outdoor, working life,” so I’m happy as can be about that! I’m still recovering from the experience though and am a smidge shy, but I know in no time I’ll be out and about looking for the person who’ll be the recipient of all my love. I’m still basically a youngster at about 8 months, so we’ll have eons to get to know and love each other, and I think that would be the very best way to spend the rest of my life! (December 2019)
