I’m looking for a long-term situation! For the last year I lived with mom and a dog and we did great. Now mom has health problems and the dog and I need to find someone new to care for us. I’m a little scared right now and spend time snuggled under a blanket. I’m used to sleeping with mom on her bed. The volunteers here are working to help me feel comfortable, and I like being petted and brushed. I’m sure that I would adjust well to a new home and become your special companion. I have a pretty grey coat with black stripes and a white chin. Let’s see if we can work something out!

The kind rescuer brought us all to The Animal League where we all were well-cared for. Our mama has been adopted, and now my sister MacNab and I are waiting for our very own home. We are a bonded pair who play, eat, and sleep together—the best of friends who have weathered several storms of illness. We need to stay together! Mom could no longer care for me or my sister, so we were brought to The Animal League. Mom said I was shy, and I’m living up to that. In fact, I don’t often come out of my soft cubby. I’m sure the volunteers mean well but really, I just want to be left alone. I do now allow myself to be touched with a wand without hissing too much. I’m hoping someone can take me away from this (admittedly nice) place so that I can spend my days in peace and quiet. Can you please help? I have Vet Care Support for Life to carry me into the coming years.
