Your “one and only” cat: that’s who I want to be! As a youngster, I was rescued behind a Tucson apartment complex. After I was brought to The Animal League, a couple adopted me. For over a year, I lived with them, their two teenagers, and their dogs. They said I was calm yet friendly, resting beside my human. Being brushed, playing with feather toys, bird-watching and sunbathing were also favorites. I will meow for meals and do tricks for treats. I’m smart and will come when my name is called. I think I hit the jackpot! There I was, wandering around a Tucson neighborhood, when finally a nice lady took pity on me and brought me to The Animal League. I’m being treated very well here and I like it, but what I really want is a new home. Until I am able to impress the right person with my charms, I’m hanging out in the cubbies here just watching and waiting for my chance. I’m not scared, and I enjoy all the petting, brushing and scratching I’m getting from the volunteers. I have a handsome black tabby coat, quite fluffy, and big green eyes. Hi… my name is Viper,

Life upheaval: new baby in the house. Our humans weren’t sure how my best feline friend, Baxter, and I would interact with the little one, so they brought us to The Animal League where we await our new home. I’m not sure why I have my name because I’m certainly not venomous! I’m a healthy, young girl with lovely black and white tabby markings. I’m shy. Currently my coping strategy is to nestle in a cat tree cubby observing my new surroundings. I’m waiting to venture forth to play with toys and receive petting from the volunteers. Until then, they are gently talking to me, assuring me that I will find my new home. Perhaps with you?
