My feline buddies and I lived with a woman who cared for us well, but she became ill and could no longer care for us. That’s where The Animal League comes in! We were brought here and confirmed to be in good shape and very loving. I like petting and playing, don’t mind being picked up, and laps are okay for a short time (so far). I will approach visitors to my room, even the volunteers who want to weigh me. I’m very cooperative. I really like the cat trees here and like to try out the different levels. I’m adoption-ready! Okay, at my age you’d expect that I’d been around the block, and I have! I’ve had a few different homes and was once abandoned, and somehow I developed a dislike of dogs. My last human was no longer able to care for me so I’m looking for my NEXT home. I have some minor age-related health issues—and I do come with Vet Care Support for Life. Despite it all I’m a sweet black tabby cat that loves petting and laps. I still like to play. I like to sleep on a high perch on the cat tree in my room but will wake up and purr for any visitors that come my way.
