Any day that involves a field trip is my favorite day. I love riding in a car and traveling to exciting new places. Once there, I enjoy all the new sights and smells and spending time with someone special. I’m a good looking 2-year-old male Rottie mix with soulful eyes. I use a doggy door, know the command “sit” and can learn so much more. In the kennel I seem shy and timid, but once out, I’m a different boy altogether. I didn’t get along with the dog in my last home, but I’m not sure I should be blamed for that. If you’re looking for a companion to share your travels, please call for an appointment to meet me. I am a really friendly, medium-sized black Labrador retriever and terrier mix who is full of energy and love for life! I’m only two years old and some of my favorite things are to play and run, or better yet, go on car rides to new places to play and run! I would like to live with someone who enjoys the outdoors as much as I do. Perhaps we could go hiking together or take lots of walks? I already know a few basic commands, and I also know how to tell someone when I need to go outside. I’d like to learn more and be a loyal buddy forever. I get along with pretty much anybody, and I show people that by giving them lots of kisses when we meet.

I already know some commands really well—like sit and stay—and I can learn more. Can you teach me? When you’ve been living outside in a mobile home park with dozens of other cats to compete with, it isn’t exactly a dream life. Although a wonderful woman tried to care for us as best she could, “one-on-one” time was pretty rare. Well, my babies are on their own now, so I’m enjoying the attention of the volunteers and am trying to imagine what a life with just one person all to myself would be like. I’m an unusual white and black 3-year-old with curious half-and-half black/white ears, a huge “beauty mark” on my chin, and a graceful bearing. I’m absolutely, positively sure that I’ll forget all about my past with you by my side!
