When I first arrived at TALGV with my friend and roommate, Fry, I was overweight and a little lazy. Now, since being in foster, I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I’m full of energy. Even though I like playing outside, I’m still a couch potato who loves to cuddle. I’m a smart and funny boy that’s house-trained, loves to ride in cars and go for walks. I’m good with children, cats, and most other dogs. I suffer from anxiety and I calm myself by sucking on pillows, without ever ripping them. Although Fry and I are great friends, we are ready now to be separately adopted for our forever homes. Please call to arrange a visit.

My litter of nine babies and I were found abandoned on the street in Nogales, Mexico, and then brought to TALGV to find homes. My puppies are not yet ready for adoption, so they are in foster care for now. I am in good health but due to the strain of nourishing my family, I am quite emaciated and am grateful for the good meals provided by my new friends. (I may be skinny, but my heart is full of love.) My foster mom reports: “She’s pretty much house-trained and appreciates air conditioning. She wants to know where her person is and loves to ride in the car. She walks nicely on leash but may freeze if she sees a big dog, even from a distance. Pasta is happy to meet smaller dogs and especially likes women.” If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet and obedient girl, please call TALGV office at 520-625-3170 and make a date to meet me soon.

Are you a gem collector? Well, here I am! My mom said, “Jinx is an awesome cat. He’s been around dogs his entire life and probably thinks he is one. He loves people, kids, dogs (obviously!), and is ‘neutral’ on cats. He’s loving, very social, and silly. He’s pretty lazy, and will lie on top of you when he wants to. He knows his name, will come when called, and LOVES to be brushed and have his nails trimmed.” (That last one ought to sell you right there!). My family is moving to the east coast, and since I don’t travel well, decided I’d be happier staying here. I’ve got paws crossed it’ll be with you!
