Hi… my name is Lacey (aka Tuesday),

Adopted 5-5-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

I hope you understand when I say these precious years are my sweetest. I’ve had friends, adventures, scary times (once lost in the desert), and good times, but now I’m content to lie in the sun, enjoy my meals, and stay close to my special person. I’m told I’m good company, too. I love to go for walks every day, enjoy a warm bath, and I’m a loving companion—described as “amazingly affectionate.” Fine in a crate at night, I ask to go outside, and for your comfort, I come with Vet Care Support for Life. Granted, my joints are sometimes stiff, and I can’t see anymore—unless you count how my heart sees the goodness of a loving companion. That’s what I’ll see in you and be for you if you take me home.

MILO is a mellow and playful 14-month-old, 40-pound, Staffie/Lab mix boy who needs a new home. He was rescued a short time ago but owner plans to move away and cannot take him. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. He is house, leash, and crate trained. He is well behaved and obedience training; he will sit, go down, stay, shake, and come to his name. Milo is playful and energetic. He gets along well with children, but not with cats or other large dogs. Milo can be shy with new people, but he will be your loyal companion, especially if you give him lots of exercise. There is no adoption fee. Hi… my name is Banjo,

Adopted with Flute 4-26-20

There’s “getting along great” bonding and then there’s “practically joined at the hip” bonding, and my girlfriend, Flute, and I are definitely in the latter category! When our mom’s asthma turned into pneumonia, our people decided that cat hair wasn’t the best thing for her to be exposed to, so we’re back at our alma mater looking to shine our light on someone else’s life. Mom said that I’m affectionate, playful (“sometimes rowdy” apparently!), love to play with crumpled paper (cheap toys!), and got along fine with the small dog we lived with. In my humble opinion, I can’t imagine what more you’d want from companions, so why not come let us steal your heart?

Tux

Hi… my name is Tux,

Adopted with Ziti 4-5-20

I guess some people forget how active kittens are, even as “teenagers”! My friend, Ziti, and I went to live with a couple when we were still in the fluffy, adorable stage, but since they worked long hours, they finally decided that they didn’t have enough time to spend with us, and felt another more “doting” home would suit us better (they said THEY weren’t a good fit, not us!). Dad said that I’m really playful and a great “support cat” for Ziti, who’s a bit laid back, and that I love laser lights and playing in my cat tower. I’ve got my paws crossed that two bonded companions are exactly what you’re looking for!

Hi… my name is Estrella,

Adopted 7-1-20

My name means “star,” and in this case that comes in the form of an adorable 7-year-old Lab mix girl. The lady I previously lived with thought I was a little more “dog” than she could handle. I can sit when treats are involved, and it seems I know the command “leave it” when distracted. My foster Mom said that I love people and like most dogs. I’m house trained, use the doggie door, and walk well on a leash. I like car rides, but I don’t behave well when I see people and dogs on the sidewalk, so we’re working on that little problem. Some basic obedience training would be helpful. Please consider letting me become the star that could brighten your home and your life.

Hi… my name is Sierra,

Transferred to Lab Rescue 5-2-20

I’m a tall, 18-month-old Lab mix girl that’s now attending classes so I can present myself in a ladylike manner. After being dropped off (dumped), found, and finally brought to TALGV, I needed help settling down. I am learning how much fun and relaxing it is to sniff out treats that have been well hidden throughout the room. Even though it seems like a game, I get instant rewards for a job well done. I’m becoming comfortable with each of my trainers who reinforce (non-verbally) the basic commands I’m being taught, like sit, wait, find it, catch, down, and say hello. It seems I’m not only good looking but I’m also intelligent. I’m hopeful that, with continued training, someone will notice me. If you’re willing and patient, that someone could be you.
