JACKSON is a cute and sweet 18-month-old, 5-pound Chihuahua that needs a new family. He is healthy, neutered, and shots are up to date. Jackson likes to play ball and is leash trained. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and older children. He is housebroken, stays by your side and knows no and come. There is no adoption fee for Jackson.

Imagine a little dog like me (just 12 pounds), out on my own in the big wide world. I’m a curious, friendly kind of guy, and there was a lot to see and smell, but also scary big things, and even some scary little things. When a kind woman came to my rescue, I was relieved to be safe again. She kept me for a week, long enough to say I was great with kids, but there were already other dogs there and so I came here. I’m an adorable 2-year-old Papillion mix male—smart, alert (notice the ears), and I do like to join in the fun. If you have room in your heart and home for a little guy like me, we could have fun together for a long time to come.

My mom adopted my sister, Gummie Bear, and me when we were just wee critters and we provided her with lots of excitement, but when her health necessitated a move out of state for treatment, she had to return us. I’m an extraordinarily handsome boy with striking sleek, black fur, which matches perfectly with my extraordinarily gentle and loving nature. As a teenager I still love playing with toys (and even small dogs), so I’ll bet your whole world would be ever so much happier with me in it!
