Hi… my name is Cyrus,

Adopted 11-13-19

I’m a sleek, shiny black boxer/lab mix with a sparkling personality to match. I was adopted from TALGV two years ago when I was just a year old. But now my Dad had to move, so I was brought back to start over. With my bright spirit and love of people, dogs, play, and belly rubs, I just know my new family is going to see me, want me, and take me home! I’m an enthusiast when it comes to playing “retrieve your toy,” but I ‘m also known to relax completely, stretched out on my back, letting you pet me as long as you like. I’m good on leash and am learning to wait at the door, but don’t let me wait too long for you to claim me as your own.

Hi… my name is Charon,

Adopted with Cord 10-16-19

Sometimes you can go over the top with the “cats are like potato chips – you can’t have just one” philosophy! That’s what happened with my people when their landlord discovered they had too many cats – they had to move and my housemates, Pipalo, G.B., and I had to come back to TALGV. Well, you can tell that we were all well loved though, as we’re just as outgoing and friendly as can be. We ADORE laps, snuggling, playing with toys, and, according to dad, are “very peaceful.” It would be great if some (or all!) of us could stay together, but if not, I promise to make your life pure bliss all by myself!

Mac

Hi… my name is Mac,

Adopted 11-3-19

I’m a handsome black and white border collie/lab mix looking for my very own forever home. I love to play and need would like a playmate. I love playing fetch, even bring the toy back to you. My previous family brought me to TALGV because I was a great jumper and went out to find playmates. I have boundless energy that I need a little help harnessing. I just love everyone that comes to visit. I have pretty good manners, and I’m ready to learn basic commands. I’d love to get some basic training and, if you like, maybe even some agility training with you by my side.

Hi… my name is Ebony (aka Midnight,

Adopted 1-3-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

As everyone ages, they often need to take medicine, and that’s true for pets too. I’m easy though, as all I need for my thyroid twice daily is either a transdermal gel in my ears or pills and I’m good to go! My mom said I’m a quiet lady (except when I purr, and then I’m really loud!), love gentle attention (I get sad without it), enjoy playing catch with catnip mice (although I’m declawed, I can nab those buggers easily!), and generally adore living a quiet life with my person. At 11, I’m now entitled to vet care support for life, so I’m dreaming of enjoying one last peaceful home with a special someone.

Hi… my name is Doris,

Adopted 2-20-20

I’m so petite that when they first found me, they thought I was only a few months old. Well, what a surprise when they discovered I was pregnant! Happily, TALGV found a foster home for me while I had and raised my baby. It turns out I really am still a kitten after all (albeit a teenager at just under a year old), so now I’m half past ready to get on with the life I know I was meant to have. My foster people said that I’m a charming, sweet and affectionate lady who loves attention, so I’m hoping there’s someone right around the corner who’ll let me be the cat of their dreams.

Hi… my name is Spencer,

Adopted 7-1-20

Have you ever longed to be accepted and loved for who you really are? I’ve been living at TALGV for almost 3 years and still hope for the day when someone special comes, really sees me, and says, “Spencer, you’re coming home!” People walk by my door, give me a glance, see a black dog with a graying muzzle, and pass me by. What they don’t see is that I know my commands and have good house manners, am friendly and give big kisses. I love walks, car rides, playing “find the treat,” learning new commands, and taking a nap. I do, however, have a problem I just can’t seem to shake. Do you? Mine is aversion to other dogs. I will treasure the person who is willing to shield me, adopt me as their only dog, and love me as I am.

Hi… my name is Whiskey,

Adopted 11-5-19

If you are looking for a big, sweet and playful companion, I’m your dog! I haven’t met many strangers, so when you come to visit me, I may be a little nervous at first. But if you let me sniff your hand and give me a few minutes to get to know you, we can be best friends in no time! I especially like it when people scratch my butt, and I will gladly roll over for a tummy rub! I lived with my first family for the last six years. They said that I am housebroken, know sit and stay, and was gentle with their new baby. I’d like to find someone who will take time to play with me and take walks, but, most importantly, who will love me forever!

Hi… my name is Sami-John,

Adopted 1-25-20

What a rollercoaster I’ve been on! I was once a feral kitten who was trapped and neutered (thus my clipped ear), and the lovely people who rescued me worked with Paws Patrol to domesticate me. Well, it didn’t take all that long, because now I’m a gentle housecat who adores laps and rubs. Sadly, my family is now planning a motor home life, so they felt I’d have trouble adjusting to their new peripatetic lives. They said I loved to play with toys and my small doggie housemate, and although I’m sometimes slow to warm up, I’m very “interactive” and love attention. So just come sit with me a while and you’ll find out!
