Hi… my name is Ruby Rose,

Adopted 12-30-16

Don’t let my tipped left ear fool you – I’m not feral, even though it was my “job” to be a “working cat” at a pumping station. The wonderful lady who took me to be spayed (courtesy of TALGV’s Outreach Program!) discovered that I was really a sweetheart and deserved a home of my own, so here I am, dreaming of just that. While she fostered me, she said that I still “got a little tense” when being picked up (lots of cats are that way!), but that I’m “fearless” (except for the vacuum cleaner and car!), outgoing, curious about everything, and a very funny, playful teenager. I lived with two dogs and six cats and got along great with them, so I think I’m ready made for a real home. I hope you’ll agree!

Hi… my name is Roscoe,

Adopted 1-6-18

Roscoe comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

I’m a people-loving dog. When lost, I went to a skating park just to be near people. More recently, I kept another dog company while her human mom recovered from illness and foster mom observed, “Roscoe LOVES EVERYONE, especially those who’ll sit and pet him.” You could say life has taught me how great it is to have friends. I’m an 11-year-old black shepherd mix male, mature and in good shape, plus I have FREE vet care for life. Since being rescued, I’ve met many good people, but there’s still someone missing—the someone who especially welcomes my sweet company, who chooses me to join them for walks and quiet times. Their affection will be a dream come true for me and, with them I’ll be home at last. Could you be my someone?

Hi… my name is Tess,

Adopted 1-6-17

There aren’t enough animal shelters in the world to go around for needy animals, and when one closes, it just makes things harder for everyone. Fortunately, TALGV is able to take some of us in when they have space, so I’m happy to report that several of my compatriots and I are now safe and looking for that elusive “forever” home. The wonderful lady who brought me here said, “Tess was left on our doorstep when she was 7 weeks old. She lived inside, but stayed to herself because the other cats intimidated her. She had a bed by the window and loved to watch the world go by. She is a gentle kitty who could use some extra TLC.” Well, I’m here to second that motion – how about just you and me?
