Hi… my name is Champ.
Adopted My 10, 2015
Champ has received his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification.
After the police found me on Sahuarita Road, my owner was traced through my chip, but never responded, so here’s what the TALGV volunteers said about that: “We can’t understand why Champ’s owner never came back for him because he’s a real charmer!” I was a little rough around the edges when I arrived, but now — drum roll, please — I’m especially proud to say I’ve earned my nationally accredited Canine Good Citizen award! I get along with other dogs, have excellent leash manners, and simply will do anything for your affection and attention! So there you have it. Someone out there is missing out on one very special dog with tons of potential! I’d love it if this 2-year-old were on your radar!
Arrived January 3, 2015.

I don’t know why the people who originally adopted me even bothered, as they kept me alone in a room with no furniture and only food, water, and litter because I played too rough with their 3-year-old, and would hit and shout at me when I tried. Needless to say, I never got much socialization until their friend took me in for a few weeks. But now that I’m “out and about” here at TALGV, all I want is a lap to sit and sleep on, a few “action” toys to bat around (like all kittens do), and to try to reclaim the fun I missed in my early life. I’m not even two years old yet, so it’s not too late for you to help me get those fun-filled days back again!
Arrived December 31, 2014.

Thanks for looking at my pictures. My biography is under construction. Please stop back again to read about me or… even better… stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Kennels are open 10-2 every day.
Arrived December 26, 2014.

Murphy and Matilda are 7-month-old littermates found as babies that need a new home as owner can no longer keep them. They are hard to tell apart because the markings on their beautiful black and white coats are identical, but Murphy is slightly larger than Matilda. They have all their shots and have been spayed and neutered. They are playful, curious, very social, and sweet. They play together with and without toys. Since they are inseparable, they need to be adopted together. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Murphy and Matilda into a loving home as part of your family, please call Candice between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-207-3974
