Hi… my name is Raisin,
Adopted January 1, 2016
When my family had to move to an apartment, the landlord said, “Absolutely NO cats”! Well, fie on him! He doesn’t know what he’s missing! I’m a darling, young, black and white girl who loved playing with “my” 4-year-old (Mom said, “Raisin plays with my wild son and will go looking for him”), “normal” cat toys, laser lights, and oh, well gee, just about anything! As an added benefit, I’m not overly fond of wet food, so there’s no need for you to deal with stinky cat food cans either! I love being around people (I really don’t like being left alone all day), so I’m dreaming of another home where someone will be nearby a lot so I can relax and be the kind of cuddle bunny I was meant to be.

As part of the “Winnie the Pooh” litter, my two siblings, Kanga, Rabbit, and I lived with a foster mom for a few weeks when we first arrived in July because we needed a lot of extra care at our tender ages. She said that were all very social, loved to be held and petted, and got along fine with all the other critters in her home. Well, I’ve continued that tradition now that I’m here — I’m a laid back guy who is content to watch or join in the fun — whichever option catches my fancy. I’m a young solid black boy who is going to turn into one super sleek and handsome fella when I’m grown. But between now and then, why not take me home so you can enjoy the transformation?

I’ll bet if you know how amazing Border Collies can be, you’re wondering how a little lady like me ended up at “the pound”? Well, it’s a long story, but suffice it to say I’m glad that I’ve now been “relocated” to TALGV! I had quite an ordeal along the way, so I’m a little reserved at the moment, but I’m sure with lots of TLC and a modicum of education, I’m going to do my breed proud! I’m only a few years old, so I’m looking forward to the all years ahead I’ll be able to spend proving you made just the right decision when you took me home!
