Animal League News

Hi… my name is Flower,

Adopted by foster 6-2-26

Found pregnant, scared, and covered in cactus (zero stars! I do not recommend), I came to TALGV and raised ten beautiful puppies. Now my babies have grown up, and it’s finally my turn to be someone’s baby. I’m a sensitive, soulful girl who bonds closely with my people—laundry helper, dishwashing assistant, and happy hiking buddy. I walk beautifully on leash and greet you with full-body wiggles every time. My hobbies include squeaky-toy fetch, belly rubs, brushing, chewing a good bone, and chasing butterflies like my own nature show. I’m gentle with kids and eager to please with kind, consistent guidance. Fun fact: I’ll need a secure yard with a wall over four feet to keep me safe. My “mom” days are finally over, now I’m ready to belong to my own forever family – perhaps with you?

Hi… my name is Kris Kringle,

I’ve gotta give my people credit. They had me for six years until I began fighting with my male housemate. They relinquished me to TALGV, but soon missed me so much they reclaimed me, hoping things would work out. As you can guess, things didn’t change, so now I’m dreaming of a “one cat” home (namely ME!). Mom says although I’m not the most demonstrative guy (maybe that’s because as a youngster I was dumped in a parking lot, so haven’t quite forgotten that experience), I like being with you on my terms, lying near you on a couch or bed. If you’re willing to give this handsome guy a try, I sure will give it my all! (5/21)

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Breezy,

I would love to live up to my name and breeze right into your life, ready to give and receive affection!  I’ve known the life of a stray and thankfully had a nice home after that. I will approach visitors to my room and rub their legs. I love petting and brushing, which I really need because my coat is long. I will purr my thank yous! I get along with my feline roommates here but I like to sleep alone in a cubby. If you come with a toy, I will likely play with you. Come on by; let’s get acquainted!

Hi… my name is Milo,

Adopted 5-18-26

My rescuer found me at a dumpster behind a store and thankfully brought me to The Animal League.  Here I’ve been charming all humans in my sight. I will greet you when you enter my room and follow you around, looking for petting, brushing or playing. I am a lap cat and will purr my appreciation for your affection. I get along fine with other cats; don’t know about dogs. I’m a handsome boy with a mostly white coat, sporting splotches of black here and there. I eat anything and use the litter box like a champ. Can I fit in at your house?

Hi… my name is Gizmo,

Adopted 6-3-26

I’m part dog, part muppet, with 100% personality. Have you seen these feet? They are made for prancing, dancing, and dramatic entrances. I landed at TALGV when my owner’s health couldn’t keep up with my superstar energy – my breed comes with a factory-installed “let’s go do stuff” button. We’re smart, busy, and can help organize your life:  Shoes in a pile? I can help. People standing still? Not on my watch. I love everybody. Dogs? Let’s play. Cats? Let’s coexist – or plot light mischief. Humans? I’ll be your #1 fan—and your personal cuddle consultant. Belly rubs? Don’t threaten me with a good time. I’m an active guy, so I’d love a secure yard, fun humans, and a playful sidekick. Adventure buddy and snuggle pro. Let’s recap: Looks, playful, friendly, house manners, cuddler. What’s missing? You.

Hi… my name is Jade,

I’m part Rottweiler, part zoomies, and one hundred per cent delightful. I’ve got playful energy for days and a serious passion for walks. Grab a leash and watch me suddenly transform into an excited black and brown canine athlete. I’m friendly, loving, and always ready to brighten your day with my goofy personality and happy tail wags. Whether we’re exploring the neighborhood, playing around in the yard, or relaxing after our adventures, I’ll be happiest simply being near you! I’m also an excellent motivational coach because I will absolutely encourage you to take your daily walks with me. Honestly, who needs a fitness app when you can have my adorable face cheering you on? If you’re looking for laughter, loyalty, and endless fun, I’m your girl!

Hi… my name is Sootie Pie,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

For 13 years I lived and loved my human, then she passed away. I’m a big gentle girl who has lived with other cats, but I do not like dogs. I have a sweet disposition, and I love gentle pets, belly rubs, and being brushed. I’m looking for a quiet home where I can spend my “golden years” as your “meeter and greeter” if you let me. My vision is impaired but my shots are so up to date that I don’t need any more until 2028. Also, I come with Vet Care Support for Life. I’d love to cuddle up and sleep with you. I’m at The Animal League waiting.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Sage,

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION WITH BONDED COMPANION PINX

Oh, Pinx, what happened to Mom? I heard she had to go into “assisted living.” That’s why we’re at The Animal League. Is there anyone out there looking for two bonded companions to grace their home? I’ve been so scared that I’ve only hissed at everyone. I know how to be affectionate and friendly, but I’m easily startled by loud noises. I’ve also been known to sit on laps. I have distinctive white whiskers, white bib, and boots. If you are a patient person willing to take us both, please come look for me in a cat tree or cubby.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Pinx,

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION WITH BONDED COMPANION SAGE

Oh, Sage, I know Mom went into “assisted living” – a place we could not go. Look on the bright side, we’re being well cared for at The Animal League, and I hope we will find another home of our own soon. I’ve been very scared, too. Is there someone out there who won’t be put off by my hissing “hello?” We’ve been incredibly stressed here, especially with so many other cat roommates. I’m a lovely looker – white face with black fur around my temples and ears. I also have a fluffy black tail. Do you have an abundance of patience? Come rescue us both, please!
