I’ve had the worst luck staying adopted! Through absolutely NO fault of my own, I’m back at TALGV and need to go through this whole “finding my forever family” thing… AGAIN! This time, it’s different. Where I was previously shy and unsure of myself, I’ve since gained confidence thanks to the friends I made a few months ago; both two-legged & four-legged. NOW I’m all about playtime, tail wags, and happiness. My sunny disposition is like a magnet. You’ll find I’m basically a giant teddy bear with great manners, a goofy grin, and a heart full of love. My name means female warrior, and it fits—I’m brave, curious, and full of…. personality! I was adopted as a puppy, but returned because the resident cat didn’t like my playful spirit. I just wanted to make friends! I’ll share a secret: I didn’t get much training when I was younger, so I’m busy learning the basics: leash manners and polite greetings. I’m catching on fast – with plenty of commentary, as I’m quite the talker! I love people and want to be part of whatever you’re doing. You can’t spell “lovable” without L-O-L-A! When my person’s health declined, I lost my home, and arriving at the shelter was scary. I was very shut down at first, but kind people, patience, and a friendly canine roommate are helping me come out of my shell. I love walking with dog friends, curling up in my crate when I need a break, and being sung to— I don’t care if you’re off-key! Thunderstorms? I do get nervous, but a calming jacket settles my nerves. Oh, and one polite request: please don’t touch my feet, thank-you-very-much. I’d do best in a quieter home without young kids, but semi-active adults and another playful, confident dog to show me the ropes would be good. If you go slow, I’ll reward you with all the love my shy little heart can give.
