Well, I was left behind.  My owner moved and left me with a family that included a dog and other cats, but it was too much for them.  Too bad!  All the volunteers here say I’m an absolute love bug—and I certainly do love human attention.  I am known to put my paws on a chest and rub cheeks with someone who stops to pet me. I’m friendly and seek out humans.  I’m a beautiful young calico girl and am so looking forward to a new home where I can lavish my affection on someone full-time.  Is that you?  Come meet me and find out!

Are you ready “fur” a kitty? Well, if you are, I came in with nine others, and we are all just as sweet as can be! Why are we here? Too many cats and dogs in the home. So here we are waiting to be adopted. I am a lovely lass whose distinguishing marking is the black right side of my face and nose. My sister Baby and I are both petite and somewhat shy. We are tolerant of a home filled with activity. After all, we lived with children, other cats, and large dogs. We “roll with the punches” so to speak. Please come check us out. I am mama to the Awards Litter. Just think! You could take home The Emmy! I’m a petite young lady who has a beautiful, soft fur coat. I appreciate being petted. I’m still young enough to play with toys. Of course, I want my own home now that my kittens are on their own. Why wouldn’t I? I was found wandering outside near an apartment building. My rescuer fed me for a while, but when she learned I was pregnant, she brought me to The Animal League so I could be cared for. I thank her because my kittens and I are doing well. Won’t you please come meet me? I’m a friendly lady who’s waiting for you!

I was adopted by a senior woman who decided that my feline friend and I were not a good fit for her, so she returned us to The Animal League. My feline companion has already been adopted again, so now it’s my turn! My adopter commented that I “was playful and kitten-like, was bold and outgoing, and was a greeter.” I like to play with my toys and balls. I enjoy being petted and hanging out on my human’s lap. I’m not a picky eater. Don’t I sound like the perfect feline? According to folklore, calico cats bring good luck. You just know you have to meet me, so come on in! I’m waiting.
