Hi… my name is Skittles,

I’m not your average calico cat. I look more like a tabby with white fur, but I have lots of orange “painted” on my long luxurious coat. Did I mention that my feet have white boots? A huge plume of fur describes my tail. Would you have time to brush me daily? I need that kind of care. I’m a sweet girl (on my terms), who likes to play, but I have been known to nip. Guess that’s why I’m at The Animal League looking for a new home. I tolerate other dogs and cats. I’ve always lived indoors and had a small cat bed. Do you have room for me?

Do you have patience –even just a little? I’m a cute calico who loves belly and back scratches – when I get to know you. I can be quite playful and kitten-like, but I’m shy and hiding at The Animal League. I’m still adjusting to my daily routine here. Someone described me as a “very sweet cat.” My paws have white “boots,” and I sport a white bib – very stylish! Although I was outside when found, I’m really an indoor girl. I lived with a family for about 4-1/2 years until someone developed allergies. My shots are up to date and I’m ready to go. I’ve lived with both dogs and cats. Do you have room for me?

Meow! I am the proud mother of three male kittens who have found their forever homes. I was a stray found by a kind lady in Amado who cared for me for a brief time because I was a new mom. Since then, I’ve had my spay surgery and all essential vaccines. I’m sweet and friendly, like petting, and I am somewhat of a talker. The volunteers at The Animal League brush my lovely calico fur regularly. I also enjoy any treats that come my way because I’m good eater. I don’t know where my home is, or if I ever had one. I’ve outlived my human dad so I’m back at The Animal League waiting to find a new home. My human adopted me despite me being shy. When I first went into his home, I hid for several days, only coming out at night to eat, drink, and use my litter box. He was elated when I finally appeared one morning to be his companion. I became his best buddy. I miss him. I’m still very shy around strangers or in a different environment. My coping skill is to hide. Are you a patient cat-lover? I need you! It will take me time to adjust to my new home, but I so need a home!
