Hi… my name is Big Girl,

You know how everything is relative? Well, that’s me. I’m only a “big girl” if you put me in a room filled with kittens! I’m just the right size to fill your heart with love. The only reason I’m here is that my previous humans had too many cats to care for. How sad they were to bring five of us into The Animal League. But, hey! We adapted so quickly that the volunteers are in love with us and think we are the sweetest cats. And we are! Please come see for yourself. We promise not to disappoint you. If you want a friendly cat with a striking-colored fur coat, then I’m yours!

Several of us cats came into The Animal League at the same time with very unusual names. I’m one of them! Does that conjure in your mind a delicious entrée? Well, I’m “delicious” in a different way. I’m sweet and friendly. I love to lie on the high perch of the cat tree, but I also like to snuggle in your lap.  My calico markings are so pretty, don’t you think? My yellow-orange nose and left cheek, along with my white chest and white paws help me stand out from other calicoes in the room. I DO know how to “work the room” because I’m in your lap as soon as you sit down! Come on in!

Well, I was left behind.  My owner moved and left me with a family that included a dog and other cats, but it was too much for them.  Too bad!  All the volunteers here say I’m an absolute love bug—and I certainly do love human attention.  I am known to put my paws on a chest and rub cheeks with someone who stops to pet me. I’m friendly and seek out humans.  I’m a beautiful young calico girl and am so looking forward to a new home where I can lavish my affection on someone full-time.  Is that you?  Come meet me and find out!

Are you ready “fur” a kitty? Well, if you are, I came in with nine others, and we are all just as sweet as can be! Why are we here? Too many cats and dogs in the home. So here we are waiting to be adopted. I am a lovely lass whose distinguishing marking is the black right side of my face and nose. My sister Baby and I are both petite and somewhat shy. We are tolerant of a home filled with activity. After all, we lived with children, other cats, and large dogs. We “roll with the punches” so to speak. Please come check us out. We are good solo or together. Your choice!
