Are you ready “fur” a kitty? Well, if you are, I came in with nine others, and we are all just as sweet as can be! Why are we here? Too many cats and dogs in the home. So here we are waiting to be adopted. I am a lovely, delicate lady with a distinguishing mark of black on my nose surrounded by orange around my right eye. We calicoes are all different, you know! I’m tolerant of a home filled with activity. After all, I lived with children, other cats and large dogs. I “roll with the punches” so to speak. Please come check me out! I’m ready to spend my life with YOU!

I am mama to the Awards Litter. Just think! You could take home The Emmy! I’m a petite young lady who has a beautiful, soft fur coat. I appreciate being petted. I’m still young enough to play with toys. Of course, I want my own home now that my kittens are on their own. Why wouldn’t I? I was found wandering outside near an apartment building. My rescuer fed me for a while, but when she learned I was pregnant, she brought me to The Animal League so I could be cared for. I thank her because my kittens and I are doing well. I was adopted by a senior woman who decided that my feline friend and I were not a good fit for her, so she returned us to The Animal League. My feline companion has already been adopted again, so now it’s my turn! My adopter commented that I “was playful and kitten-like, was bold and outgoing, and was a greeter.” I like to play with my toys and balls. I enjoy being petted and hanging out on my human’s lap. I’m not a picky eater. Don’t I sound like the perfect feline? According to folklore, calico cats bring good luck. You just know you have to meet me, so come on in! I’m waiting.

When you come to meet me, you will notice that I’m one of those calico cats who has absolutely gorgeous markings! I’m a petite little girl. Friendly, sociable, and playful—that’s me! I’m considerate of other cats playing with toys, but when it’s my turn, I jump on the chance. My papa Mandarin and brother Banshee and I were brought to The Animal League because our human was allergic to us. Although we are not officially bonded, we are used to each other so please consider adopting us together. My brother and I love to play together. Our feline dad watches from his cubby. Since a kitten I have lived with my humans and my feline friend Mia, plus two dogs. I was gentle with children, easy to get along with, and could nap anywhere. However, our humans are moving and can’t take us with them. They said that I tended to over-eat, but hey! I thought you were supposed to clean your plate! Good news: I eat canned and dry food; you just need to limit my portion size. Possibly a regimen of diet and exercise might be good in my next home. Will that be yours? Please come to meet me.
