Hi… my name is Mimosa,

Adopted with Trixie 11-15-22

I am a beauty with a personality to match! I’m a great companion who will follow you everywhere, and I love sitting in laps and being petted. I love to be brushed (and I need that.) Can you tell that I love attention? I love to sit and look out the window. I may try to go outside, but that’s a no-no! I will sleep anywhere, but I prefer to nap next to my human. I’ve lived with my best friend Trixie my entire life. We are a bonded pair that must be adopted together. I have also lived with a small dog. How about it? Won’t you please come meet Trixie and me?

Hi… my name is Abigail,

Adopted 8-1-22

You know how most cats hate water don’t you? Well, the volunteers said that when they gave me a much-needed bath and brushing out, I purred the whole time! Maybe it’s just that I wanted attention so badly that I was grateful for anything! My young mom brought me and my real mom and her new kittens into TALGV to save us because her landlord was threatening to abandon us in the desert (he was definitely not a cat person!), so we’re all mighty thankful for that! I’ve had a bit of a rough time in my short life, but I’m hopeful I can now get on with the business of just being the playful companion I’m meant to be. Won’t you give me a chance to do just that?

Hi… my name is Daphne.

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

Well, you sure wouldn’t know that I’m a 14-year-old by looking at me! I’m a petite, vocal lady who lost her dad because he had to move into a “no pets allowed” assisted living facility. Some of my favorite things are rubbing noses, purring, and getting all the attention you up for giving. OK, I’ve lost a few teeth along the way (haven’t we all?), but it doesn’t hinder my eating one bit (I like Friskies shreds and Purina kibble). I’m hyperthyroid, so need a pill a day, but I have Vet Care Support for Life for other stuff “just in case.” My “golden years” are just starting so won’t you share them with me?

Hi… my name is Maggie.

Adopted 11-9-20

You can’t go wrong with a calico. So say I (and lots of head-over-heels-in-love-with-calicos folks!). Plus, I’m a Manx (well, I don’t have a tail, so if not the “real thing,” close enough!). I was rescued from an area where lots of cats roamed free and relied on the kindness of strangers for food, so it’s just awesome to be here where food and water are just brought to you without begging for them (who knew places like this existed?)! Anyway, I’m a lovely approximately 2-year-old girl who’d simply love to share my days and nights relaxing with you in a quiet home where there’s nothing to go boom in the night to scare me.

Hi… my name is Sofie,

Adopted 8-29-20

Comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

I’ll bet you don’t know many cats who like spinach! And that’s not my only delightful trait. I’m an ear-scratch junkie who’ll purr you into doing it for hours. I’m also, “…gentle, sweet, curious, and a wonderful companion.” I’m not one for being picked up (I’m a smidge on the, uh, “more of me to love” side!), but I adore sitting next to you and taking a lazy nap. I love tummy rubs, and being brushed is one of my favorite things ever. I’m mostly cool and composed, but occasionally show my kitten side by being a goofball. At almost 15, I have Vet Care Support for Life, so why not make both our lives happier?

Hi… my name is Flute,

Adopted with Banjo 4-26-20

There’s “getting along great” bonding and then there’s “practically joined at the hip” bonding, and my boyfriend and protector, Banjo, and I are definitely in the latter category! When our mom’s asthma turned into pneumonia, our people decided that cat hair wasn’t the best thing for her to be exposed to, so we’re back at our alma mater looking to shine our light on someone else’s life. Mom said that I was very affectionate with her, got along fine with the small dog we lived with, but was a bit shy around strangers. I can’t imagine life without my best friend, so hope that you’ll let the two of us steal your heart together!

Hi… my name is Carley,

Adopted 1-3-21

So far, life hasn’t been a big bowl of cream for me or my housemates. After our dad died, someone thought they were doing a good deed by leaving us outside and feeding us, but after a few months, we became really defensive, as there were so many threatening things out there. Once upon a time I was a very sweet gal though, and with the help of the volunteers, I’m slowly coming around. I just know that with patience and love in a nice quiet one-pet home the “old me” will finally emerge. All I need is a chance, so this is my plea for you to give me just that!

Hi… my name is Charity,

Adopted 10-14-18

You know the saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” has been around for a long time for a reason, and when some people move and abandon their pets, they’re really relying on that happening! Well, happily I know I’ll prove it true, ‘cause I’m just as sweet and loving as can be and will make some lucky person the companion of their dreams. I’m a shorthaired dilute calico girl, about 1 year old, and beautiful as all get-out to boot! Sometimes when pets have gone through “trauma,” they double down on niceness, so that’s what I’ve done. I’m here just waiting to show you what a joy it’ll be to have me around!
