Hi… my name is Dixie,

Adopted  1-6-22

When I was found wandering around a local shopping center,     I allowed myself to be lured into my rescuer’s car with treats.    For two days I stayed with the family, which consisted of two children (ages 4 and 8 years old), and 4 dogs/cats. Unfortunately it was discovered that I do not do well with cats, but it seems I was gentle and tolerant with the children. It was suggested that I might do well with an active family, who could spend a lot of time with me. Since I can jump fences, I will need a safe enclosure. I know the command “sit,” and I appear to be leash trained… plus I can use a doggie door. Actually, I’m a very friendly, sociable girl! Looking for an adorable, compact sweetheart? That would be ME!

Hi… my name is Chanel,

Adopted 2-21-20

You’ve probably heard about those standoffish cats who aren’t much interested in interacting with humans and only care about themselves. That would definitely NOT be me! My mom said that I loved to cuddle and sleep with her (and my small dog buddy), loved to play with toys, and absolutely NEEDED to have someone (or something) around for attention, as I’m simply not happy alone. I guess you can quite rightly call me an extrovert! Sadly, after I lived with her for eight months, she felt that three dogs were all she could afford to keep, so won’t you pick up where she left off and start showering me with the love I crave?

K C

Adopted 5-9-18

KC is a handsome, energetic, and social 3-year-old, 65-pound Staffie mix that needs a new home as rescuer is disabled and unable to provide enough exercise for him. He is in good health and is neutered. KC loves people and has excellent manners; he knows many commands: sit, stay, come, lie down, no, get your leash, bring the Frisbee, down, treat, off, easy, heel, and more! He is housebroken and asks to go out. He gets along with other dogs, enjoys car rides, walks well on leash, and loves to play ball and run at the park. Not recommended for children or cats and might be best as an only child.

There is no adoption fee for this special guy. If you would welcome KC into a loving home as part of your family, please call Marion between 11 AM and 5 PM at 520-647-9978.

Hi… my name is Milo,

Adopted November 15,2015

Sometimes it takes no time for new cats to adjust to one another, and sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Sadly, that’s what happened for me, so naturally the resident cat got to stay, and I’m back looking for a one-cat household where I can do my human-loving thing. My erstwhile mom said she fell in love because I love to purr and like all petting (even my tummy!), and spending quality lap time. I’m an arresting, 5½-year-old, silvery mix of Siamese and Persian — a combination that’s pretty much guaranteed to turn heads — and my personality is just as awesome. Although it may take a bit for me to come out of my shell, once I do, “Katie bar the door!” — I’ll be your new best friend!

Adopted January 20, 2015.

IVAN is a sweet, fun-loving, very smart 3 ½-year-old Champagne-colored Brussels Griffon boy who was adopted two years ago by current owner who can no longer keep. He is housebroken and sounds the bell by the door to go out, but he loves his brisk morning and evening walks. He is neutered, is up to date on his shots, and medical records are available. Ivan likes other dogs and cats, is very social with everyone, and he loves to play with his ball. He doesn’t bark, chew or dig. Kids are unknown. He is not obedience trained except “sit” but he really has no bad behavior and used to sleep on owner’s bed at night. Ivan greets people with enthusiasm and then settles down. There is no adoption fee. To arrange a meeting with this special dog, Ivan, please call Pam between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-820-3967.
