Hi… my name is Lollie,

Adopted 9-28-18

Comes with Free Vet Care for Life.

Don’t ever let them tell you a gal’s too old for a spa-like “makeover!” Well, that’s what I got when I arrived at TALGV after my mom died because my grooming had been woefully neglected for a very long time (my coat was completely matted and my nails were growing into my paws!). Right now I’m sporting a “lion cut,” but when it grows out I’ll be the gorgeous, longhaired Siamese/Himalayan mix I’m meant to be. I’m a totally sweet, 10-year-old lady who ADORES attention (well, just being with you!) and since I’m “on the older side,” I qualify for free vet care, so now’s the time to bring me home and watch the transformation!

Arrived 5-6-18

Hi… my name is Perdido,

Adopted with Sammy Boy 3-9-18

Perdido comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

Maya Angelou wrote, “A friend may be waiting behind a stranger’s face,” and my brother, Sammy Boy, and I sure do hope that a “stranger” who visits TALGV will the friend we’re looking for! After we lost our first dad, another older gentleman adopted us but his health declined, too, so we’re both back waiting for the next chapter of our lives to begin. I’m a little shy at the moment, but I’m basically a people-loving, 11½-year-old (with free vet care) and I’m looking forward to “Phase 3” of my life with a new human (and since I lived with and depended on Sammy Boy all my life I need to be adopted with him). You know the old Doublemint ad, “Two are better than one,” so why not see how true that really is!

Hi… my name is Angel,

Adopted with Max 4-17-18

Double your pleasure, double your fun, adopt a bonded pair, two for one.

You can probably tell that my son and I are dogs who know what love is. We clearly love each other, and we also loved our person. When he died and his family couldn’t keep us, we were very sad, but grateful to have each other. And now we’re here, staying brave together as we look for our new best friends. I’m an adorable blonde 5-year-old Terrier mix female, and while I really want to meet you, I may be a little bashful at first. (I’m 10 pounds and every single human I’ve met is bigger than me.) But I’ll warm up and we’ll soon be having fun, playing and cuddling on a regular basis. I’m leash trained, good in the house, and love Max, my son. Will you let us love you, too?

Hi… my name is Sun Tzu,

Adopted with Thelma 11-9-17

Here’s what we know about me: “A male neutered Siamese mix was brought to our veterinary clinic by a Good Samaritan who reported that the feline had been on his property for approximately one month. Cat is in good health and has been microchipped.” And when they tried to trace my owner through that, they reached a dead end. So what I’m thinking is that the dead end in my past life could well be the beginning of my new life with YOU! I’m a handsome (that word is sometimes overworked, but just take a look at me!), 2-year-old Siamese mix (named after the Chinese general who wrote “The Art of War,”) who’s looking toward a future full of peace, security, and love. No “wars” for this guy!

Hi… my name is Scarlett,

Adopted 2-28-17

Scarlett has Free Vet Care for Life.

OK, I guess I need to go to an “anti-bullying” class ‘cause that’s what cost me my home! When my dad’s girlfriend and her cats moved in I wasn’t in a very welcoming mood, and have to admit that I did intimidate them a bit too much (hey, I was there first!), so unfortunately my housemate, Merlin, and I were the ones that had to leave. Dad said that although I can sometimes be a bit reserved, I really am very sweet at heart and love attention and snuggling. I got along with the dogs in the house, but when the little kids got “hyper,” I made myself scarce. I’m a basically quiet 7-year-old lady who just wants to love you and be loved back. That’s not much to ask, is it?
