Hi… my name is Hannah,

Adopted February 25, 2016

A lovely young family took me in when I was lost, and even though they couldn’t keep me, in a short time we got to know each other pretty well. They said I was a “great family dog, especially with kids.” TALGV volunteers say that’s because I’m beautiful inside and out—a gentle, friendly and loving dog, who just happens to have a gorgeous Husky coat and face. Sometimes I’m shy at first, but I’m also alert and intelligent. When people are kind and friendly, I’ll soon warm up. And once we’re friends, I’m great for playtime, cuddling, or just hanging out. Could we meet soon? I’m a 4-year-old female, with a soft coat that’s light red and white, and a big hope in my heart that you will be my forever person.

Hi… my name is Lady,

Adopted February 7, 2016

When my family moved out of town, they couldn’t take me with them. But when the door closed between them and me, a window opened at TALGV. I look out that window now, hoping someone will come to meet me up close and personal. If you’re that someone, you’ll see that I’m quiet and calm, but am also very friendly and playful. If you like the toss-a-toy game, I’ll fetch and bring it back to you. I’m a 4-year-old female, a Whippet/Canaan Dog mix with a soft tan coat, weighing about 29 pounds on a slender frame. I know basic commands, how to walk on a leash, my family said I’m good with young people, and probably my best feature is knowing the importance of loving each other forever. Please come for a visit today!

Hi… my name is Goli,

Adopted September 24, 2015

I had a good home with my Chihuahua buddy, Money, and our human dad, but when Dad needed some medical attention, there was no one to take care of us. He decided a new home would be best for each of us and so we’re here. I’m excited about a new place and thinking I could fit in real well. I’m little, a beige and cream 14-pound girl, and at just 6 months old, I know “sit” and “come,” and how to walk on a leash. TALGV volunteers call me super cute; I hope you think so, too. Most of all, I want you to know that I’m a loving dog who would make a great friend. Please, could we meet? I’m thinking the best new home for me may be yours!

Hi… my name is Paul,

Adopted November 17, 2015

Despite my current anxiety about my life’s changes (my mom passed away recently), her daughter said that although I’m a bit shy with people at first, once I get to know you, I’m a real sweetheart and a love. Like many of my breed I can be a smidge independent, too! I’ve been living with my siblings, Lucy and Carlos, and adore them mightily, so staying with one or both of them would be SO nice (and make our transition into a new home a lot easier!). I’m a gorgeous flame point Siamese mix who loved sleeping with my mom at night, so if you’re looking for a bed partner of the feline kind to purr sweet nothings in your ear, I’m your guy!

Hi… my name is Sara Lee.

Adopted October 4, 2015

Some of my doggie neighbors here at TALGV have interesting stories about where they came from, or they arrived with a friend. I’m on my own. I probably had a home with someone, but one day I woke up in a place I didn’t recognize. That was so scary that I’m extra glad to be safe now.   I’m a cream-colored female Chihuahua mix, well fed (some have suggested I could lose a pound or two) and getting my walking exercise. Best of all, I like the quiet times when a human friend holds me.   Just sitting with a person can be the sweetest part of the day for me. If you like the comfort of togetherness, too, we should meet.  We can make our own great stories with each other.

Hi… my name is Jacks.

Adopted August 23, 2015

My buddy, Ecco, and I were sad to say goodbye to our person when he moved to a nursing home, but now we’re hoping to say hello to our new home! I’ll do my best to bring lots of happiness with me.   As a Cockapoo, I’m naturally curly, and thanks to my sweet and gentle personality, I’m also a naturally great guy to have around. I like people, have good house manners, enjoy going for walks, and I’m exceptionally good at just relaxing and enjoying the day with you. I’m a 7-year-old male, 30 pounds, and cream in color. My wonderful friend Ecco and I have kind of grown up together, so we really want to stay together. Could we live happily ever after with you?
