Hi… my name is Oscar,

Adopted with Marble 11-25-23

“Home is where the military moves you,” but that doesn’t apply to pets. Reluctantly, my feline buddy and I were returned to The Animal League. I lived with a family of adults, four young children, and two dogs. My human dad said that I have a wonderful temperament and got along very well with everyone! Playing with my feline buddy and the dogs was my favorite sport. I enjoyed being carried by the young children or adults (I’m not picky) and snuggling at night with whoever was available. I love everyone! I have more living to do, and I’d like to do it with YOU! Please come meet me so I can win you over.

Hi… my name is Mummy,

Adopted 1-5-24

As you know, Mummy is a term of endearment for one’s mother. It’s true that I am the mama to five kittens known as the Halloween Litter… so my name has a double meaning! We were found under a mobile home and brought to The Animal League smelling like skunks! Ugh! Were we ever glad to have baths, clean accommodations, and food! I am an adorably friendly kitty who will greet you at the door by extending my paw. I so appreciate volunteers petting me and playing with me. I’m a petite lass with gorgeous markings; I’m especially proud of my stiped tail ending in solid black! Please come meet me so we can be best friends!

Hi… my name is Zelda,

Adopted with Rodan 12-12-23

Are you ready “fur” a kitty? Well, if you are, I came in with nine others, and we are all just as sweet as can be! Why are we here? Too many cats and dogs in the home. So here we are waiting to be adopted.  I am a lovely girl with striking grey striped markings. I have soft fur and enjoy being petted. My brother Solar and sister Eclipse and I are all tolerant of a home filled with activity. After all, we lived with children, other cats, and large dogs. We “roll with the punches” so to speak. Please come check us out. We are good solo or together. Your choice!

Hi… my name is Serafina,

Adopted with Pookie 1-18-24

How’s this for mistaken identity? My owner thought I was a male until I had a litter of kittens! Since he couldn’t afford all of us, he brought me to The Animal League. I was adopted and lived with a couple for a short time. I slept in my own bedroom and preferred eating at night. At times I was shy, at other times I was feisty. Since a family member had allergies, back I came. Volunteers find me sweet and attention-seeking. I do have love and devotion to provide you if you are patient with me. Kindness will do its magic. Want to extend that kindness to me? I hope so!

Hi… my name is Cha Cha,

Adopted 11-26-23

My roomie Chi Chi and I were left in a home where someone is allergic to us—boo hoo!  That’s our bad luck.  We are both very sweet cats.  However, Chi Chi wasn’t always nice to me and I’m a little reserved.  I love petting, scratching and brushing.  I’m fond of string toys.  All the best qualities in a cat!  I am a beautiful soft grey tabby girl with green eyes.  I’m middle aged and would love to spend the rest of my life with a human companion.  Why not come meet me?  I think you’ll be impressed with my sweet personality and we can make a life together.

Hi… my name is Pixie,

Adopted 1-16-24

Somebody played a dirty trick on me. They put a loose collar on me and I got outside! Since I don’t like collars, I tried to get it off…but only succeeded in trapping my paw inside the collar. By the time I arrived here, the collar was embedded into my neck and armpit. Not fun. That’s behind me now, and I’m healing nicely. I’m ready to have fun, and since I’ve been here, I seem to get along with the other cats in my kennel. At my age I have lots of play time in mind, along with plenty of attention. Please come meet me and let’s see if we can come to some arrangement.

Hi… my name is Abby,

Adopted 8-15-24

Help! I’m a little discombobulated. My owner can’t care for me any longer and now I find myself here with all sorts of other cats and people I don’t know.  I’m frightened. When I first arrived, I hid up high on top of the cages. Now I’m in another room where I can’t climb up so high. I still run away from the volunteers. I’m just not ready to trust them yet.  I’m a pretty gray and white tabby, and at my age I should have many years of companionship to give.  I think I need a quiet home and a patient person who can help me calm down. Please give me a chance.

Hi… my name is Marisol,

Adopted 12-24-23

My name is Spanish for “Mary of the Solitude” and there are many famous ladies and movie characters who share my name! Check them out on the internet. I’m a lovely petite lady who was found wandering behind the Circle K on La Canada.  Thankfully, my rescuer brought me to The Animal League. There is little solitude here, but I’m fitting in. Kind volunteers show me attention which I appreciate. I’m not demanding, but I welcome playtime with them. I would be happy just to be with you. Are you ready for a lovely feline who wants her own human to love? I’m ready for a journey of new beginnings with you!
