Hi… my name is Stubbs,

Adopted with Freedom 3-14-24

I was a mama cat, living in a home with my kittens, other cats and a small child—no problem. But now mom is moving and can’t take me with them, so here I am! Mom says I’m not normally shy, but here at The Animal League I’m a little withdrawn.  She says I’m calm, will eat anything, and love cuddling with blankets. I’m not wild about being picked up, but once I’m comfortable with you I like being petted and snuggling. My coat is a pretty grey with stripes, and my throat is white. If I need something, I’ll speak up. I hope to find another home where I can make myself comfortable.

Hi… my name is Jade,

Adopted 6-30-23

I guess it’s hard on families when they separate, but it’s doubly hard with there are kids and pets involved. My not-so-little household consisted of my feline friend Precious, two youngsters, and two good-size dogs, and we all had a splendid time enjoying life. For an 18-year-old (with vet care support for life) who spent most of her life with them, things are pretty topsy-turvy right now, but mom said that I’m gentle and outgoing and although sometimes shy, I love people, so even though I’m visually impaired, I know one day things will be back on an even keel for me again. If you make that happen, I know there’ll be a twinkling gold star in your crown!

Hi… my name is Lenny (aka Lilac),

Adopted 7-13-23

As a kitten I was found living under a car, wandering around a storage lot with my siblings.  We all came to The Animal League where I was adopted with my brother. You can see how cute I was as a kitten by looking at my photos on the website. I’m a big boy now and I love treats. Unfortunately, mom is now ill and can’t care for me any longer. I’m very friendly and will roll on my back for attention. I get along fine with other cats, but I’ve never been around children. I’m ready for my second real home and I hope it can be with you! Come say hello.

Hi… my name is Mimi,

Adopted 5-20-23

Here I am waiting to meet you! I know there are kind humans who care for us cats. Such a one was the person who brought me to The Animal League. She said, from what she knew, I was a good, sweet cat that had been abandoned by my people. I was not being fed and was hungry. “Rescue”…. Such a lovely word to me. Will you be the one who will rescue me into your home where I can shower you with my devotion? I am a lovely grey lady who is shy and cautious of humans currently. However, the kind volunteers are demonstrating what being loved feels like. Please come meet me!  (Bio 12-2022)

Hi… my name is Dewdrop,

Adopted with Lemon Drop 5-27-23

Why do humans move and leave their pets behind? That’s what happened to my sibling Lemon Drop and me. We were abandoned in a vacant house. The next-door neighbor brought us to The Animal League. How thankful we are that he did! We are safe and well-cared for here. We are the cutest balls of fur! Playful, too! And do we ever love to be petted! We need our own humans to show us their devotion to a bonded pair of brothers who love to eat, play and sleep with each other. We need each other…and YOU! Will you come to meet us?  We are waiting to show you just how dashingly handsome we are and cuddly, too!

Hi… my name is Heart String,

Adopted 5-15-23

I am just the cutest thing with four furry paws! You MUST come to meet me. I have heard that humans love lap cats, so I’m practicing my lap cat pose. So far, I’ve mastered jumping on the volunteer’s lap and turning around and around. Just can’t quite find my comfortable pose yet! But I do like to snuggle which brings smiles to the volunteers’ faces. I was found in the desert (horrible place for cats!) and brought to The Animal League by a kind person. I am inquisitive, friendly, and playful. I especially like wand toys. I have a sweet meow-squeak. I’m looking for my own home, and it just might be yours! I’m waiting.

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I had a pretty good life until babies entered my home. I was deemed unsuitable so I was shunted aside until my family decided to move—without me.  I feel a bit unwanted! At least they brought me to The Animal League, where I’m showing off my best qualities. I do like to hang out in a cubby but come right out for attention. I will get in your lap and I like petting and brushing. I would love to find a home where I can feel safe, and where I can show you affection in return. To sweeten the deal, at my age I come with Vet Care Support for Life.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Legend,

Adopted 4-29-23

I’m not sure how I found myself outside and alone, but I picked out a good looking house and started meowing at the door. Guess what? It worked! They brought me to The Animal League and I’m pleased as punch. No shrinking violet, I know a good thing when I see it. I love to be petted and brushed and will roll over to show my appreciation. Now I just need a permanent home. How about yours? I’m a cute grey and white guy with handsome black markings on my coat. I’m young enough to foresee many years of playing and loving in a new home. Come on by and say hello.
