Don’t have time to run to the door right away when the doorbell rings? Well, if only I had opposable thumbs, I’d get it for you! My mom said, “Rayita is a greeter and lies on her back to say ‘hi’ to anyone at the door. Although she’s sometimes independent, she loves to climb into people’s laps to sleep or be petted.” My brother, Moat, and I came here all the way from Puerto Rico with our family, but they’ve developed allergies to us, so we’ve both got our sights set on a new home. I’ll bet YOURS would fit just fine, so why not give this 6-year-old gal a new favorite spot to hunker down?

You know how kids often resent a “new addition” to the house? Well, I’m guessing that’s what happened to me, as I just didn’t get along with the dog and cat I was sharing the house with and my heretofore-excellent manners took a bit of a nosedive. Truth be told, I think I’m one of those felines who just wants you (and every nook and cranny in my home!) all to myself so that it’s ME who’s the center of attention! And what’s not to like? I’m a gorgeous, longhaired tabby girl who’s lovable, enjoys cuddling, and just wants to be part of your life. I don’t think that’s too much to ask, do you?
