Hi… my name is Paddy,

AVAILABLE WITH BONDED COMPANION TEDDY

I’m humming Gershwin’s song, “Someone to Watch Over Me.” I do have that someone in Teddy, my bonded companion! We are inseparable. He is never too far away from me, his watchful eyes always aware of where I am. We came to The Animal League from a home with too many pets. We stay close together. You will find us either in a covered cave bed cuddled together, two pairs of eyes peeking out or cuddled in a corner together. I’m a petite young girl who’s shy but seeking my new home with Teddy. Is it yours? I hope so!

Hi… my name is Penny,

RAINBOW BRIDGE 8-19-25

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

It’s sad when you outlive your human! That’s happened to me, so at my senior stage of life I find myself looking for a new human. My feline buddy of many years is also gone, to a nice home I hope.  The years show on me a bit, with arthritis that gives me a hitch in my giddy-up, but with Vet Care Support for Life I’m hoping you can overlook that.  I’m a mellow, sweet girl that will reward your petting with purrs. My face is oh-so-sweet and my coat is a pretty grey stripe. If you are looking for a tranquil companion that will appreciate you, come on by!

Hi… my name is Otis,

Adopted 5-26-25

“Found in the neighborhood today.”  That’s what my rescuer said. At my age, I certainly must have had a home of my own before I was “found in a neighborhood.” But alas, I won’t be able to tell you about my past. My present is looking much better since I’m at The Animal League waiting to be adopted. I’m one handsome fellow with distinct markings. Dark stripes around my eyes with rings around my neck, legs and back adorn my cuddly fur coat. Cuddly I am! Just scratch my head or chin and I’ll curl around for more petting. I hope my future includes your caring home. We just have to meet!

Hi… my name is Marley,

Adopted 6-14-25

Double whammy! First, I lost the only human I’ve known when he went into hospice care. Then my feline friend was adopted from The Animal League. We had been such an agreeable team. I slept with my human dad. At times I was kitten-like during playtime. I could be laid back, then outgoing once I got to know visitors. Volunteers are wooing me out of my hiding here as I adjust to my new surroundings. I appreciate them! One calls me “a love of a love.” I’ll try to live up to that if you meet me. I long for human companionship. How about it? Are you ready for me?

Hi… my name is Logic,

I was rounded up along with a couple of buddies and kittens, and I can’t tell you what my life was like before. I was the friendliest of the adult cats and was taking care of my kittens. I’m just glad I’m here now! I’ve been pretty scared since arriving but I’m becoming a little more sociable with the volunteers. My coat is a fluffy grey tabby stripe.  Now that the kids are squared away I’m hoping someone will come looking for me! I need a gentle and patient soul to bring out my best points. Could that be you?

Hi… my name is Brainteaser,

I was rounded up along with a couple of girlfriends and kittens, and I can’t tell you what my life was like before. Right now I’m not happy being here, and I express that by hiding in a corner and hissing.    I can’t really complain about the food, though, and I am safe. Hopefully in time my attitude will warm up a bit once I realize how much better off I am.  I’m a pretty grey tabby girl. For now I could use a quiet home with a human that has patience to spare. I promise I’ll try my best!

Hi… my name is Frankie,

Adopted 9-8-25

My owner gave me up and now I’m looking for another chance at a happy home life. I’m a beautiful grey tabby with white on my face and chest, and gorgeous blue eyes reflecting my Siamese side. TALGV volunteers say I “lean into” petting and scratching, and I like to survey my room from a high cubby on the wall. I’m just getting used to things, I guess. Will you come meet me and get acquainted? I’m betting we could find some common ground, of the “you pet me, I purr” variety. I’ll wait for you in my room, just look up high.

Hi… my name is Snickerdoodle,

My brother Dexter and I survived our owner’s death and being left outside—talk about a heartbreak! I’m still getting over it. Thanks to a kind neighbor we were trapped and brought to The Animal League. I’m getting used to a new place and like hanging out on a perch in the catio. I like the petting, brushing and whatnot that I get from the volunteers. What I think would really be grand is to be adopted into a new home soon. I’m a handsome grey tabby with beautiful bold stripes. Come on, what do you say?
