Hi… my name is Mama,

Adopted 12-26-22

At first glance at my slight frame, you would never know that I love to eat. My rescuers said that I “ruled the roost with other cats over food issues.” Why? There were nine of us abandoned outdoors left to fend for ourselves when our people moved.  Neighbors couldn’t keep us all, so they brought some of us to The Animal League. Thankfully, I now have the necessities of food and shelter. However, the one essential thing missing is my own home where my human(s) will love and care for me. I like to be petted. I have lived with other cats and dogs. I’m friendly and would love to meet you!

Hi… my name is Rumple,

Adopted 1-9-23

Stray. That word conjures up sad times for me and my buddy Stiltskin. We were found outside our rescuer’s house. How did we get there? No one knows. What IS known is that at The Animal League I am a handsome grey lad with plenty of love to share. I am reserved, watching people come and go. How I wish they would come pet me because I really like that! While I’m waiting for my very own human to love forever, I am sitting on a cat tree gazing out the window. When you meet me, you will see what a sleek grey fur coat I have along with peaceful, green eyes. If you want a quiet feline companion, I’m yours!

Hi… my name is Emerald,

Adopted 10-14-22

I am one little lady! I have a soft gray fur coat with white chin and four white paws. I was found in a Tucson neighborhood. Who knows how long I had been wandering around? Since the rescuers could not care for me, they brought me here. A big thanks to them!  At The Animal League I am being very well cared for. The volunteers are caring for both my physical and emotional needs. I need much Tender Loving Care to heal. With patience, my sweet personality will shine just like my fur coat! Won’t you come meet me?  You may be my answer for a human to love!

Ace

Hi… my name is Ace,

Adopted 11-5-22

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Due to my senior status, I have Vet Care Support for Life. What a grand boy I am! I have a cocked right ear that lets you know I’m thinking. And I’m thinking I need my very own home. My past includes several homes where my humans became ill and had to bring me back to The Animal League. (I began my life here as a kitten.) Well, it’s a great place, but I long for my own human to cuddle with and love. I have lived with other cats and dogs but not children, so I don’t know about living with them. My preference would be a quiet home with adults. Could that be with you?

Hi… my name is Jessie,

Adopted 10-5-22

For being a stray, I am VERY friendly. I “mew” for attention and prefer being petted over playing with a toy. How’s that for a sweet cat? I’m a petite, almost tiny, little lady.  I have a long tail that I must grow into! I have soft white fur with gray markings.   I’m a beauty, if I do say so myself! The volunteers at The Animal League are so kind to me. They feed and shelter me, as well as play and pet me.  However, I would LOVE to share a home with my very own human(s).  If you are looking for a darling with great personality, please come check me out! I’m waiting for you!

Hi… my name is Mystic,

Adopted 9-16-22

I come from a home with four children, a dog and three cats. I didn’t really fit in there—there was too much going on for me and I became aggressive with the other cats. I’m very friendly though. You can pick me up and I’ll stay in your lap and take all the petting you will give me. My long black fur is really SILKY, and my eyes are yellow and green. I need a second chance, and I’m thinking a quieter household with no other cats would be better for me. If you can come meet me, I can show you my wonderful coat and turn on the charm. What do you say?

Note: My baby photos are at the end of the gallery.

Hi… my name is Lunchbox,

Adopted 10-21-22

I hung out in a man’s yard with my younger siblings until he brought us in to The Animal League. I’m a petite young man and I love to play. My coat is almost equal amounts white and gray and very soft.  I like to approach new people. You can pick me up but I may not stay in your lap—I have too much to explore! With me you can expect friendliness and energy—isn’t that a good combination? It would be awesome if I could find a home with another playmate. If you’re looking for something to liven up your house, I could be just the ticket. Let’s meet!

Hi… my name is Pappy,

Adopted 8-23-22

Papago Road exit leads off I-19 to nowhere, and that’s exactly where I was headed. Fortunately a good Samaritan found me lying under a tree. I was too sick and weak to stand, so he picked me up, put me in his car, and drove me to TALGV for help. After a trip to the vet, and a short stay, I was returned to TALGV. I’m an approximately 5-month-old hound/staffie mix boy, who finally can see a bright future ahead. Now all I need is a caring person, hopefully you, to adopt me and take me home. I can see it now, a home of my own, a loving family, and lots of toys for me to play with. What more could a puppy wish for? You to grant my wish!

Hi… my name is Floof,

Adopted 12-8-22

“Exceptionally furry animal” is the meaning of my name, Floof. I come when called by my name! I love being groomed to keep my furry coat soft and mat-free. For a short time I lived in a home with two adults, a teenager, a dog and a cat. My humans said that I was tolerant of children, but I was leery of the black Lab. The 12-year-old male cat constantly antagonized me. So here I am. They said I loved people and would greet them at the door. I love to cuddle on your lap and purr. Won’t you come meet me? Your home might be just for me if I’m your one-and-only pet.

Hi… my name is Riley,

Adopted 9-10-22

I’m a very friendly, outgoing chap who loves everybody, and it seems everybody loves me. No brag…just fact! I’ve also been good with children (ages 2, 4, 5, and 6). It’s been mentioned I’m not good with small dogs, and I definitely don’t like cats, especially after one recently scratched and injured my eye. I’m still getting treatment! I’m not crazy about the heat, but I do love going for walks and car rides. I enjoy spa treatments (baths), but hate water hoses. I’m leash trained, good in the house when left alone, and can use a doggy door. I know the commands “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” I’m very affectionate and enjoy attention. Instead of just living the “life of” Riley, why don’t you take me home and live your “life with” Riley!
