Hi… my name is Tito,

Adopted 8-10-24

I’m Tito and I make “fetch” happen! It’s probably my favorite thing to do. I also love walks, car rides, belly rubs, learning new tricks (rollover is my latest!), naps, cuddling, and anything else that involves time with people. I’m an almost 2-year-old boy who is the perfect mix of happiness, smarts, loyalty, and love all wrapped up in a handsome package, if I do say so myself. Bonus! I have experience living in a home, so I’m house-trained and crate-trained. I even put myself to bed at night! I don’t chew on things that don’t belong to me, and I know how to use the doggie door and have polite manners. Okay, I sometimes need to be reminded not to jump on people. Nobody’s perfect, but you have to admit: I’m pretty close! (11-30-23)

Hi… my name is Autumn,

Adopted 2-3-24

When our finder kindly brought us to TALGV, my two puppies were excited about the food and I was most grateful for the soft, warm blanket. At last, we had a safe place to be, an amazing change for us. Hard times in the past left me with scars, but I’ve always managed to hold on to my big, gentle heart and sweet nature. Indeed, dear friends here call me an angel in disguise. I love that. Almost as much as I loved my first TALGV bath—such luxury—plus a wonderful massage! I’m good on leash and, very importantly, I’ve been a good mom, too. Is there a chance you might find me easy to love? I’m sure the feeling would be mutual. How about we meet for a visit and find out!

Adopted 11-13-23

Fatsy is a smart and affectionate 60-pound, 9-month-old male Staffie mix that needs a new home as he is too high energy for small children. He is housebroken, enjoys car rides, and walks well on leash. He is crate trained, house trained (asks to go out), well behaved and knows commands sit, wait, stay, leave it, and lay. Fatsy is healthy, has been neutered, and is up to date with shots (medical records available). He does not get along with other dogs, cats are unknown, and kids should be older than 10. He loves to play and cuddle with family and would enjoy more training. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Fatsy into a loving home as part of your family, please call Robert any time at 520-834-7777.

Hi… my name is Cashmere,

Adopted 11-11-23

My foster mom said that I’m “a love.” I was a bottle baby until my new roommates shamed me into eating out of a bowl at seven weeks old. I’m a lap kitten and extremely loving. I really like to explore and am playful. I can get possessive of my toys, so I need to learn to share. When I get over-stimulated, watch out! I panic and it can hurt. I couldn’t care less about the two big dogs I lived with. In general, I get along with my peers, but a quiet home (maybe with no very young children) might be best for me. So, what do you say?  Are you ready to meet me?

Hi… my name is Welby,

Adopted 1-26-25

Mama dropped me off with my siblings at a nice man’s house, and he brought us to The Animal League. I’m the last one still here! After a period of extreme shyness, now I’m “Mr. Friendly,” coming out to meet each new person in my room. I’m not a lap boy, but I do like being near humans and will follow you around to keep you company. I get along with the other cats in my room and like to play with string toys. I have a soft white coat with a black tail and black markings on my head. Would you be the one to introduce me to the joys of a new home?

Hi… my name is Kildare,

Adopted 2-18-24

Mama dropped me off with my siblings at a nice man’s house, and he brought us all to The Animal League. My remaining brother and I are still here.  We look alike, but you can tell us apart by the smudge of grey on our faces—mine is on my nose, and my brother’s is near his eye. I’m a little shy, not having had much human contact so far, but I’m coming around. The volunteers say I will approach and stay at a short distance, and then work up my courage to come closer for petting and brushing. I like it so much, I sometimes give light nibbles to say “please don’t stop.”
