Hi… my name is Angel,

Adopted 4-23-20

I like making new people friends. In fact, I’ve left home on my own and gone looking for people. After several such adventures while my former owner was busy working, she surrendered me to TALGV. When you visit me here, you can expect a seriously enthusiastic greeting. I’ll happily return your attention when you run your hands over my beautiful silvery gray coat. And If my coat doesn’t catch your attention, then check out my four little white sox. I’d love to have a family to play with, and possibly another dog, although I can be selective (picky?) about the dogs I like. And since I am still a young guy, about one year old, I’d love to learn new things with you. I hope the forever home out there that needs all the love I have to give is yours!

Hi… my name is Buddy,

Adopted 2-5-20

Maybe I’m not a lap-sitter, but if you’d like an interactive pal, here’s part of what my rescuer said: “Buddy is inquisitive, friendly, and playful. He’s a climber and likes to perch on top of his cat tree. He chases anything that moves. When he wants to play, he’ll begin meowing while holding a favorite toy in his mouth, and that’s your clue to begin chasing him through the house. Once he drops the toy, it’s your turn, and the game begins again. He really needs a playmate (human or feline) so if you’re a sit-in-the-chair-and-read kind of person, look elsewhere!” I’m only an 18-month-old, so plan on getting your exercise for quite a while!

Hi… my name is Foxy,

Adopted as Cat Wing Meeter & Greeter 8-20-20

If you’re looking for something distinctive in a cat (OK, we’re ALL distinctive in our own ways), I’m your gal! No one’s sure how it occurred, but I’ve got the most charming cauliflower ear, and it just adds a certain je ne sais quoi to my already endearing personality! When my mom was evicted from her home, my sister (who’s already found a home, lucky lady!), and I lost our home, too. I was pretty shy when I first arrived, but now all it takes is a little glance and kind word and I’m all love and purrs. I’ll bet there’s nothing that’ll help you beat the summer doldrums more than hunkering down with me!

Hi… my name is Bobo,

Adopted 1-25-20

I’m like a basketball. I’m round, firm, and made for play! At 10 ½ months with a muscular, compact build, I’m a ball of energy. I was found in Madera Canyon bouncing along in my happy way with no I.D. and was brought to TALGV. I love people and would be a good match with friendly dogs my own size or bigger. I look like a Minnie Pittie. I wouldn’t mean to, but I could knock a little dog down with a playful paw pat. And don’t even think about pairing me with a cat. Put on your athletic shoes and come see me. With plenty of exercise, sturdy chew toys, and training from you, and lots of affection and fun from me, we’ll make a winning team!

Hi… my name is Fluffy,

Adopted 12-18-19

Love comes in many sizes and when you’re a “plus-size” girl like me, the old saws are true: “big is beautiful,” and “there’s more of me to love!” My sister, Muffy, and my other housemates, Sneakers and Socks, lost our home because our dad had too many pets and couldn’t find anyone to care for us when he traveled. We lived happily with the whole family, which included a dog, so I really miss having the company of humans and other critters to play with. I can promise you one thing though – I’ll do all I can to win your attention, so come claim one of the loveliest green-eyed gals in the world for yourself!

Hi… my name is Honey Bun,

Adopted 9-25-19

I’m a sweet 61-pound terrier girl with a big love of people and other dogs. A kind man found me loping along near Anamax Park, and he brought me here to TALGV. He had kept me overnight, and said I was a friendly pooch. He found out I knew how to “sit,” “shake hands,” and “lie down.” Already I’m a favorite with the volunteers, and I’m enjoying a doggie roommate. Here I’ve demonstrated how affectionate I am, and how much I like to have splashy fun in water, even if it’s only a water bowl. I walk like a perfect lady on leash – I don’t pull, and I don’t jump up on people when I greet them. Come and see me, and you’ll find your next best friend and honey bun.
