Hi… my name is Jerry,

Adopted 5-14-21

I am a small, fluffy fellow who somehow got himself lost in Green Valley! Things have been a bit confusing for me lately, so I sometimes growl when people want to take a toy from me or tell me what not to do. But who is in a good mood all the time? The nice man who brought me to TALGV said that I got along well with children and also did fine with his three dogs. While at his house, I responded well to commands, told him when I had to go potty, and behaved like a champ when I had to stay alone! Now I am looking to find a forever home of my own. There is just one condition: you have to give good belly rubs! Can we meet soon?

Hi… my name is Marvin,

Adopted 2-25-22

I am a young and very active cattle dog mix who grew up mostly with other dog buddies. Right now, I live with my foster mom and she says I’ve come a long way in the trust department. She also says that I am smart and even eager to learn. I’m still leery of strangers and of strange things, but with someone I trust, I am willing to be a little more daring. Do you like fun stuff like playing with a ball or going to an agility course? Those are my favorite things to do! I would like a dog buddy in my new home, but if you want to have an “only” dog you can spend lots of time with one-on-one, I’d be okay with that, too.

FOUND – PLEASE CALL TALGV OFFICE FOR INFORMATION

Do you have a shoulder for me to lean on? I am a beautiful, young Weimaraner lady. My breed is smart, eager to please and quick to learn. We are also active and highly energetic dogs who need lots of exercise and play. We are loyal to our families and often shower them with affection. I, for example, like to put my head on my human’s shoulder when I want to cuddle, and I will give you hugs and nuzzle you to ask for more. I have been told that I walk well on a leash and listen attentively when being talked to or taught something new. Cats are okay with me. (Actually, I find them kind of boring!) I like making new friends. How about it? Can we become friends forever?

Hi… my name is Shadow,

Adopted 4-11-21

It was just the two of us for seven quiet years until my owner, who had me since I was a kitten, passed away. A kind lady friend took me into her home that already had dogs and two bonded cats, but I never did become a member of their tight-knit club and spent the last two years in a separate room, so you could say I am independent. Sadly, she passed away too, so here I am. I’m a splendidly handsome longhaired, 9-year-old grey tabby guy with an arresting “marbled” eye, and I hope that with some patience, I’ll get to find out how wonderful being the only light of your life can be!

Hi… my name is Linus,

Adopted 12-20-20

Even though I was found rolling in the dirt in a desert area near Wal-Mart, it’s evident that I belonged to someone pretty recently as I was in too good a shape to have been a longtime stray. That being said, no one has come looking for me, so as the tune goes, “I’m available…!” (Why is it that when people lose dogs, they automatically contact local shelters, but not so much for cats?) Anyhow, I’d like to say that my middle name isn’t “subtle,” ‘cause when I want attention I’ll sure let you know (and, conversely, when I’m done, well…). So why not do your Good Samaritan thing and give me a new home!

Hi… my name is Viola,

Adopted 11-18-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

I have to admit that I’m not like those mothers who get all broken up when their kids go off to college! Nope. I’m darned happy that my babies all found homes, and although I was a first-rate mother, I can now get on with being number one in the getting-attention department. I’ve had some rough times caring for my kids until I was rescued, but I hear that humans like to dote on us felines (with lots of good food, places to climb, and laps to sit in!), so I’d like to find out for myself if that’s true. I’m FIV-positive and have Vet Care Support for Life, so won’t you give me that chance?

Hi… my name is Soco,

Adopted with Scotch 9-25-20

When a new family member joined our house and nasty allergies popped up, my brother, Scotch (why they didn’t name me “Soda” I’ll never know!), and I had to move on. Given that we’re outgoing guys, It shouldn’t be hard for us to adapt to a new home though, as we lived with a baby and a dog (the dog was okay until he chased us, then he was canis non grata!), and mom said that I’m super friendly, love to chase laser lights and toys, lie near humans, and like treats (not too many though!). It’s a well-known fact that two cats double your fun, so if you’re up for it, let’s get started!
