My feet were killing me, and I needed help. Being a friendly girl, I headed down a driveway hoping to find someone at home. There was! I was brought to TALGV where I received medical attention for my sore paw pads. There wasn’t a room available, so the kind lady took me home until there was. I loved running and playing with their dogs and was fine with the cats. I have asked to go out, and know how to “sit,” “wait,” and “lay down.” I’m “so-so” when left alone. If I want to be with someone, or I’m scared, I’ll climb over a fence. When frightened, I’ll easily respond when reassured. With firm, but loving training I will make you proud and love you forever. I talk “hound,” but I’m practically bilingual! So, let’s talk “adoption!”

A word about my name: it’s short for something but Herm is just easier. My owner relinquished me so that I could find a home where I could get more attention. Not that I’m needy or anything! However, I will point out that if you DO pet me, I’m likely to roll over for belly rubs and brushing. I have a big plume at the end of my tail and white feet to set off my silky tabby coat. I’m OK with dogs and other cats—in fact I do best when I have a buddy to sleep with. If a friendly, affectionate companion is what you seek, please come meet me!

From my pictures, you can see that I am a handsome little guy with unique white and grey markings. Can you see how scared I am? I am confused as to why I’m at The Animal League. The kind volunteers tell me that my human mom could no longer care for me and my litter mates, so we were all brought in, awaiting adoption. Guess what? My siblings have all been adopted so I’m left behind. In my new surroundings, I’m perplexed so I hide. However, with kind words (and treats!) I’m being coaxed out of my cubby to enjoy human companionship. Perhaps your patience would be just what I need. Please come meet me!

Finn is an energetic and inquisitive 15-month-old, 45-pound, Terrier mix male who needs a new home. Adopter is disabled and can no longer care for him. He is leash trained; he likes to play with his chew toys, will fetch, and currently gets his exercise in the yard. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and has a microchip. He is housebroken and will ask to go out. Finn is good with other dogs; children and cats are unknown. He knows commands sit, no, leave it, treat, and out. He will love having attention and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this friendly boy.
