When my mom’s health no longer allowed her to care for my three housemates (Molly, Kuching, and Sylvester) and me, she sadly decided to relinquish us. She had lots of great things to say about my personality, but she forgot to mention the most engaging – I LOVE to head butt and kiss you to get attention. She said, “Ricky is a very loving boy who enjoys conversations with people. He likes to play and romp with his housemates (except Sylvester, who intimidates him). He responds to his name and is an extraordinarily charming lap cat.” I’d love to spend lots of time proving her true, so come meet me – you’ll be convinced in no time!

No one can figure how my brother, Bass, and I went from being typical adorable, playful, into-everything 8-week-old kittens to what our people described as “not friendly, can’t touch them, and very skittish” in ten months. Yes, we are still pretty skittish, but the volunteers immediately found that once we feel safe, we love petting, belly rubs, and purr easily, so maybe it was just some strange “aura” in our old home. We are a matched and ever-so-bonded pair who need to stay together, and with patience and love will be the wonderful companions we were meant to be. We do so hope you’ll decide that you’re the one to give us that chance.

Hi… my name is Riley (aka Opie),

In my first life, I was the neighborhood Lothario serenading my girlfriend outside her window. Her human wasn’t enchanted by my attentions, so brought me to TALGV, and I eventually found a “real” home. In my second life, it took a while to adjust to living indoors, but I fell in love with my mom, so much so that I was aggressive with my feline housemate, and thus my arrival here to await my third life! Mom said I love to play with balls, window gaze, faithfully use a (sturdy) scratching post, and want ALL your love. I also have a warm, comforting purr to share so why not make my last life with you?
