I’m a young shepherd-mix boy with a BIG, fearless, and friendly personality! I was found abandoned and brought to TALGV by a kind person and instantly won over everyone with my eagerness to learn new things: Doggie door? Check. Fetch? Master level. Walking on a leash? I was born to do this! I’ve spent time in a foster home with another dog where I learned how to prepare for when my forever family shows up to adopt me. Are YOU someone who understands there’s no such thing as “too much puppy?” We grow up. Sometimes we even turn into big dogs. We need training. Gracie is a smart, loving, and energetic 2-year-old, 80-pound German Shepherd/Lab mix female who needs a new home due to owners’ medical issues. She rides well, is good on leash and would appreciate daily long walks. She is crate trained, house trained and will ask to go out. Gracie responds to hand signals and voice commands sit, come, and stay. She is spayed and in good health. She loves to fetch and catch her ball and enjoys her peanut butter toy. Gracie loves her humans and will stay close beside you; she also gets along with other dogs and cats; children are her favorites. She likes to watch animal shows on TV. Gracie will love having attention in an active home and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this special girl. Hi… my name is Vanilla Wafer (aka Nilla),

AS A RESIDENT AT TALGV FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARS, NILLA COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE.

I’m learning the world isn’t so scary. Walks are my favorite—especially those with a bunny scent! I’m getting braver every day: strangers don’t scare me like they used to, especially if they have a calm, friendly dog. I’ll need a few meetups at my favorite park to get comfortable, so please let me go at my own pace. I’m house-trained, use a doggie door, and know a few commands. Once I trust you, my silly side shines—perhaps relocating shoes or the remote. I love toys, car rides, and splashing in a kiddie pool. Oh, I’m humble too – LOL! I’ve been told I’m so good on leash walks, that I should offer Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced classes for my canine friends here. I’m neutered, well-mannered, and love to explore the world on walks. I was found as a stray and taken in by a kind person who got me all vetted, but I can’t stay with them due to landlord restrictions.
