“Playful and charming”—does that sound good? People use those words to describe me, and, to be completely upfront, they sometimes add “mischievous.” Is that still okay? I just want you to know that I’m still a puppy who needs some training, but I’m not a baby anymore. If you pet me, I can relax and let my sweet side shine through. Since my sister was adopted, I’ve been a little lonely, but I thrive on attention and affection; quality time with you means the world to me. If I get in trouble, my feelings are hurt because I truly want to please you. After I was adopted as a puppy, things were okay at home for more than two years. But then my former person started traveling a lot, didn’t feel comfortable with me around the baby, there was a problem with her brother lifting me over a fence–it’s all kind of a blur. Happily, the future looks much brighter! I’ve even been praised for being housetrained, leash- and crate-trained. Granted, I don’t always warm up to a new person right away–I’m sometimes unsure, but making new friends could build my confidence. I promise we’ll have fun playing—I’m a lively female Lab/Hound (born in 2016), and in quiet times, I really like to be close to you. So can we meet and see if we could be happy together for a long time to come?
