Hi… my name is Rillita, Adopted 1-16-18 “She was a little skeleton with toenail nubs.” Can you believe that was me just a little over two years ago? Today, I’m an energetic 2-1/2-year-old Staffie mix female, a nice size at 50 pounds, and my rescuer says I’m “the sweetest little cuddlebug and so smart!” I […]
Hi… my name is Terri, Adopted 11-8-17 My rescuer said I found her, and that was certainly a lucky find! I walked into her yard weak from hunger and thirst. But things quickly turned around. My new friend gave me food, water, and even took me to a doctor. Then she brought me here (she […]
Hi… my name is Candy Corn, Adopted 11-5-17 Thanks for looking at my pictures. My biography is under construction. Please stop back again to read about me or… even better… stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Kennels are open 10-2 every day. Arrived 10-22-17

(Pleasant surprise: There are lots of Chicago Cubs fans here.) When my person couldn’t keep me anymore, I came to TALGV, glad to […]

Hi… my name is Chubbs, Adopted 11-17-17 When our people moved to an apartment, my pal Gorda and I couldn’t go along. But there was good news: We came here, where lots of people like me just for being a good dog. And I like them right back! Indeed, I’m always ready for your attention. […]
Hi… my name is Foxie, Adopted 11-24-17 What a difference time and love can make! I was a tiny, lost, terrified baby, emaciated and dehydrated, found near Walden Grove High School. Now, fast forward to today and I’m a thriving, lively, every-day-is-fun Chihuahua puppy. My foster mom said I’m very dog friendly. She also thinks […]
Hi… my name is Beyonce, Adopted 10-21-17 Clouds really can have silver linings and here’s how I know: Along with another little dog, I was unceremoniously dropped off at The Animal League by someone who then left abruptly. As scary as that was, it turned out to be the moment my silver lining appeared! I […]
