Hi… my name is Leon,

Adopted 1-2-19

I guess it’s every owner’s hope that they outlive their pet, but sadly that didn’t happen for my dad. Although some cats have trouble adjusting to new lives, dad’s caregivers said that I’m such a sweet, loving fellow that I’ll probably settle in again quickly because I simply adore human company. I’m being treated for an eye condition right now, but they say that I can see just fine. I’m SUPER outgoing and loving, like to snuggle and play, and actually travel pretty quietly in my crate when need be. I’m a 2-year-old who thinks humans are the best things ever, so let’s meet and I’ll happily show you all my best sides!

Hi… my name is Karanda,

Adopted 11-9-16

Karanda comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

Okay, if you want to be factual-like, I have to be up front and tell you that I much prefer adults to children and I am very persnickety about litterbox cleanliness! That being said, I’m a lovely tuxedo lady with gold-leaf eyes (and come with Free Vet Care for Life), who can be independent one minute and purr my way into your lap the next (you know, like a cat!). My dad said that I’m a really “fast runner” and sleep a good bit (again, I’m a cat!) — so I guess I sometimes go from zero to 60 in under ten seconds! My dad couldn’t afford to keep me any longer, so I’m looking for a quiet home where I can live out my nine lives in peaceful bliss. I’ll bet your place would be just the ticket!

Hi… my name is Charcoal,

Thanks for looking at my pictures. My biography is under construction. Please stop back again to read about me or… even better… stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Kennels are open 10-2 every day.

Hi… my name is Precious,

Adopted January 21, 2016

So you say you’re looking for an affectionate lap cat? Well, do I have a deal for you! All you need to do is even make a move toward me, and I’ve got my neck stretched up so that you can scratch me under the chin, around my ears, on top of my head — oh, just about anywhere! Since I lived with my senior (human) mom and my brother all my life, I’ve really gotten used to attention from everyone, so I’m eager to move on from here (yes, it’s nice, but it’s not “home”!) where I can fill your house with joy and we can all “feel the love.” I’m betting that would be the best way to start the New Year for everyone!

Hi… my name is Carlos,

Adopted 7-30-17

Every morning when I wake up, I think, “Is this the day my new owner is going to show up?” I always manage to sit right near the window to be sure I’m noticed, and although my plan hasn’t worked too well yet, I’ll keep trying! Before my mom died, I lived with my two siblings and adored them mightily, but fortunately for them (unfortunately for me!) they found homes of their own a while ago, so now it’s just little old me, hankering for a place of my own, too. I’m a sleek, velvety handsome-as-can-be Tuxedo boy who will love sleeping with you at night, so if you’re looking for a bed partner of the feline kind to purr sweet nothings in your ear, I’m your guy!

Hi… my name is Miss Mittens.

Adopted December 20, 2014.

Mothers are always convenient babysitters for their grandkids, but when my mom left me with her mother, she never came back for me! “Granny” would have kept me, but her older cat wasn’t the least bit interested in sharing (and let me know in the most painful way!), so I need a new family that will accept me for the sweetheart I am. I used to live with kids, dogs (which I especially liked), and other cats, so I’m pretty accustomed to an active lifestyle! I’m a darling little tuxedo girl, who, according to grandmom, “has a great personality, likes to be petted, and lie on laps.” I’ll just bet that you’ve been thinking about having someone like me for the holidays, so I’m here just waiting to meet you!

Hi… my name is Charlie Chaplin.

Adopted March 19, 2016

I guess there won’t be anyone out there wondering how I got my name! My “moustache” just adds that extra “something” that makes me so distinctive. My mom adopted me with two other cats a while ago, and although I’d gotten along okay with my fellow felines here, it was apparent that I was a bit insecure with the competition in my new home, so I’d really prefer to be an “only child.” Mom said that she thought a “quiet, predictable” environment where I can “do my own thing” and not have to vie for lap time would be best for me. I’m a sweet Tuxedo boy who is playful, curious and eager to explore my surroundings, so if that sounds like your household, I’d probably fit in just fine!

Hi… my name is Silly.

Adopted November 17, 2014.

My mom, a long-time volunteer at TALGV, was obviously a cat lover as she had seven of us (all adoptees of course!), so when she had to go into assisted living, she knew there would be no better place to care for us. Mom was pretty much “into” calicos, but my brother, Sam(e), and I were so irresistible she made an exception! I’m a sociable shorthaired Tuxedo gentleman, 12 years old (so I come with Free Vet Care For Life), and being “middle aged,” I’ve still got plenty of time ahead of me to make your life as happy as I did my mom’s. Why not “make her day” and take me home so the volunteers can let her know I’ve got a new lease on life?

Hi… my name is Gabriel.

Adopted December 20, 2014.

Sometimes it’s great to go right into foster care when you arrive (in my case had to since I was just a newborn) because you get tons of TLC, but the “down” side is that adopters don’t get to see how utterly adorable you are as you’re growing up! I’ve had a few health problems along the way so am still being fostered, but I’m tooting my horn as loudly as I can to make sure I don’t get missed! I’m a delightful, playful, loving young black and white boy, and rather than a foster home, I’m looking for a permanent one — so wouldn’t you like to help me (and maybe another “overlooked” one!) with that? Just ask about me!

Hi… my name is Murphy.

Adopted April 23, 2016

Oh boy, I’m back at TALGV for the second time! The first time around I was found in Sahuarita on one of the hottest days of the year (talk about lucky on that score!). I was soon adopted, and because I really didn’t like the resident cat, I was less than perfectly mannered in my behavior. Under normal circumstances, I’m a wonderfully outgoing, fastidious guy – my family said that I love to play with balls, feather toys, and stuffed mice – and although it might take me a (very short!) while to become the lap cat of your dreams, I know that I’ll be your best friend in less time than it takes to say “I want a furry friend that loves me”! I’m a handsome, black and white, guy, and I promise if you just give me a chance (and let me be the only guy in your life); I’ll be the feline of your dreams!
