I’m a gentle girl with a brave little heart that’s been through a lot this year. After my dad passed away, I felt unsure of the world and sometimes wandered off looking for the comfort I’d lost. I always came home, but my owner worried something might happen to me, so she brought me here to find a new family who is home more often. While shy at first, a friendly dog roommate helped me to come out of my shell. As a canine companion, I’m the perfect mix of energy and relaxation: I love going for walks, stretching my legs with a good run, and then snuggling into a quiet, cozy spot beside you. I get along with other animals and know basic manners. Mostly, I just want to feel like I’m home again.

Look no further, as I’m your girl! Ms. Manners is impressed with my impeccable house manners. For example, there is no need for me to be confined to a room or crate. CANELA is a social and handsome 4-month-old, 18-pound brindle and white hound (?) mix female that needs a good home due to rescuer’s medical condition. He is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained (asks to go out). He has some basic obedience training (knows “come” and “no”). He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Canela loves going on walks and playing with other dogs. He gets along with cats and children of all ages. He is extremely cuddly, wants to please, and loves human attention. You will be rewarded with his loyal companionship, and he just may be your “perfect dog.” There is no adoption fee.
