Hi… my name is Cinnamon,

Adopted 10-18-22

I was wandering around the UofA research center one day doing some research of my own: mainly for food, shelter, and some company! Lucky for me, a nice officer took me to TALGV where I get all of the above, plus more. I am a young heeler mix lady who really enjoys running and playing. The people here say that I am very sweet and also athletic. I enjoy going out for long walks, and I would love to live with someone who likes those or perhaps goes hiking and will take me along. Would you like an enthusiastic buddy to go with you when you are out and about? Then you need to call and make an appointment to see me soon. I’ll be waiting!

Hi… my name is Magnolia,

Adopted 2-13-24

Like a flowering magnolia plant, I need the attention and care of humans. I am receiving that at The Animal League after my rescuer brought me here. She found me abandoned in a house which she had purchased. When the previous owner moved out, he left me with food, water, and a litter box. That is not enough for a pet! I need human companionship and socialization. Not much else is known about my past. At nine years of age, I have much love to give. Despite being left to fend for myself, I am a sweet, beautiful lady who longs to share my life with a caring human(s). Could that be you? Please come meet me and hear my purr of affection!

Hi… my name is Mikka (aka Vita),

Adopted 8-10-22

My new name means lots of good things: kind, adorable, intelligent, kissable, and marvelous. My mom says I am all of these and more but since she has become allergic to me, I need to find a new home.I’m soft as a powder puff and twice as nice (with people that is, but not cats). So, here I am, ready to be the light of your life for the rest of mine, and at just three years old, that’ll be a long time. Mom said I’m a gentle, tolerant girl who enjoys playing with wand toys, playing with mouse toys, watching videos, and catnip. I’ve never been around dogs, so I’m not sure about them, but if they don’t hog the spotlight, I’d give them a try. Why don’t you do the same for me?

Hi… my name is Ember,

Adopted 7-12-22

It was early afternoon in the Rancho Abrego area, and I was starting to get hot and tired. Suddenly, an open garage door was an invitation, beckoning me to go in. Since I’m a calm, friendly gal, the people invited me to lunch before they brought me to TALGV. I’m an approximately 4-year-old Collie mix, and at only 29 pounds I’d make the perfect companion to blend right in with your family. I immediately made new friends with the volunteers. People noticed I’m a little too submissive, but with their encouragement, I’m on the road to becoming a more confident ME! Hear me roar! Now that you’ve read my story, how would you like to be part of my next chapter? Just come and meet me, and we can go home together to continue the saga.

Hi… my name is Mr. White,

RAINBOW BRIDGE – 7-12-22

Just think, a dog with a title! That’s me! I think, as a 12-year-old German Shepherd mix gentleman, I’ve earned it. I love most people of all ages and get along with other dogs (lived with five of them), but I don’t like cats, and I’ll chase rabbits. I’m house trained, leash trained, can use a doggie door, and know how to “sit” when told. I’m a lovable, affectionate family dog who loves to go for walks, and is calm in the house, but I don’t like thunderstorms. Since I’m considered a senior citizen, I come with Vet Care Support for Life. If you take me home, I think you and I could enjoy each other’s company as long as you DON’T have cats.
