When my babies and I arrived, they named me Bunny, and you guessed it, they were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and Peter (and they’ve all graduated from foster care and gone to wonderful new homes). Well, how about me? It’s pretty obvious from my active, playful ways that I’m still very much a kitten myself, so don’t expect an old stick-in-the-mud for a companion! Having lived outdoors most of my life, I probably never had a lot of “mom time” to learn how to play (I can be rough sometimes), but all I need is some direction in developing good playtime manners. How about it? Wouldn’t now be a good time to start our education together?

After living outside for almost two years with my “boyfriend” (who ran off and left me, the cad!), having my litter of kittens in a woodpile, and then being rescued and brought to TALGV, you can bet I’m going to be perfectly happy living indoors with you! Given that history, I’m an amazingly affectionate little girl (and I give “petite” new meaning!), who might be a smidge shy at first, but just give me a day or two, and your lap will be my second home! I may be FIV positive so probably should be an only cat until further testing can be done. No matter your circumstances, I’ll be a great addition to them!

My mom, Wilma, and I were lost… hungry and thirsty and full of cactus thorns. Then we decided to check out the 18^th hole at the Country Club of Green Valley where our adventure was cut short by two nice TALGV volunteers. After all the cactus stickers were removed, I received the royal treatment with a lovely room, soft bed, lots of toys, and friendly people. I’m quick to greet people coming in and then check them out. I’m happy to follow you around, go for a walk with you, or play fetch. I’m pretty laid back with this glossy black and white coat that reminds you of a Boston Terrier, which is kind of expected since I’m a terrier mix. Life is Good! The only thing missing in my life now is a special place, possibly with you?

Then we decided to check out the 18^th hole at the Country Club of Green Valley where our adventure was cut short by two nice TALGV volunteers. I was found in the desert and had lots of cactus thorns to be pulled out when I arrived at TALGV. Once that was done, I went to live at a foster home. Foster mom wrote this story for me: ‘I’m house-trained and love to ride in the car. I prefer to be wherever you are but understand if sometimes I just have to wait patiently for you to come back to me. I’m a great walker! I like to rise early and if you won’t let me cuddle on your bed, I’ll nibble on your feet or hands until you get up and give me big hugs. (I must admit that I need to be an only dog, but my tough guy looks are deceiving.) Humans are my favorite!” Won’t you come sit next to me so I can snuggle up next to you and put my head in your lap?
