COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’m a lady who knows what and who she likes and I crave the finer things in life: soft beds, two-legged friends, car rides, and a family of my own. In case you’d like to know, I come with Vet Care Support for Life. People believe I’m easily half my age thanks to some great genes. While I don’t require hours of exercise to keep me healthy, I am strong on a leash and I’ll need you to remind me life is not about getting from Point A to B quickly, but to slow down and smell the roses. I have impeccable house manners and “sit,” “wait,” “down,” and “leave it” are but a few commands I’ve mastered. “Is there a downside?” you may be asking. No, none at all. As long as I can be your one-and-only four-legged companion, you’ll have 100% of my heart.

Levi is a smart, loving, and energetic eighteen-month-old, 50-pound Husky male who needs a new home. He is good on leash and would appreciate daily long walks. He is crate trained and house trained. Levi responds to commands sit, down, and shake, and he is learning to wait, stay, and catch. He is neutered and in good health. He likes to play with his toys and chewing on his elk horn. Levi loves his humans and will stay close beside you, but other dogs, cats, and children are unknown. He needs an Alpha human and will love having attention in an active home and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this special boy. If you will welcome Levi into a loving home as part of your family, please call Roxanne any time at 949-683-8529.

Hi… my name is Vader,

Adopted 6-21-24

(Note: Vader is front declawed.)

I’ve lived my whole life with a grandma, but she can’t care for me any longer. I’m a little confused with my new situation and all the other cats, but I’m handling it okay. I’m pretty mellow and like to stay up on a high perch here, where I can survey my new surroundings in safety. The volunteers can pet me and brush me, but I’m easily spooked by noise. I do like to play! My coat is mostly black with a distinctive white cravat and spot on my forehead.  I am front-declawed. I’d love to find another quiet home where I can resume my comfortable life and be a companion to someone nice.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Bentley,

Adopted 6-6-24

One spring day five young puppies were found in a box at the side of a road. I was one of those lucky-to-be-found pups, fortunate to be brought to The Animal League where a wonderful volunteer became our foster mom. Since we were only 3 weeks old (!) she bottle-fed us and kept us at her home until we were 8 weeks old. I’ve been a shy and scared puppy, so I dream of a peaceful home where I’ll enjoy lots of love along with encouragement to join my person in the big wide world, maybe even going on fun adventures! I’m a big puppy now and could grow into your big dog if you think we’d be good together. Can we please meet soon and find out if we’re a happy match?

Hi… my name is Lincoln,

Adopted 6-4-24

One spring day a box holding five very young puppies was found at the side of a big road. I was one of those lucky-to-be-found pups and I’m happy to report what happened next. We were brought to The Animal League where a wonderful volunteer became our foster mom. Since we were then only 3 weeks old (!) she bottle-fed us and kept us at her home until we were 8 weeks old. Can’t thank her enough! Today I’m a good-sized puppy for my age and expected to become a large dog. With my siblings I was considered “second in charge,” and a guy who loves to play! If you have room in your heart and home for a big boy like me, we should get together. I say the sooner the better!

Hi… my name is Denali,

Adopted 6-12-24

Somehow, I became a “lost” dog! This isn’t the best-case scenario that a 3-year-old, male Husky would choose for himself. Nevertheless, here I am, found and residing at TALGV. I can’t bark about my accommodations, food, or the wonderful care I’m receiving. In fact, I’m pretty satisfied! I also enjoy being the recipient of a massage on spa day. Plus, I got a much- needed brushing. There’s nothing like being spoiled! I walk pretty well on a leash but sometimes need to be reminded not to pull. I usually “sit” when told, and only time will tell what else I may know. I’m a very outgoing, friendly boy who loves getting attention. I recently acquired a roommate, and sharing a room with another dog is fine, but I’d rather share a home with you!
