After mom passed away, we four cats were too much for dad to care for. We all came to The Animal League hoping for a new beginning. I quickly found the top perch on a cat tree and from there I can survey my new space. The volunteers come around to pet me and I crave their attention, rolling over to show my appreciation. I’m a big boy with a handsome tabby and white coat. My eyes have a mysterious green tint. I’m looking to start the next chapter in my life with someone who can shower me with love and chin scratches. I was abandoned near a high school and spent several days hiding in whatever shade I could find. I was scared and afraid to trust anyone. Thanks to some patient, kind humans, I became brave enough to come in from the heat. Now that I’m safe, I’ve discovered how much I love people. Like, really love them. I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who would happily be a lap dog as my motto is “if I fit – or not – I sit!” I’m still figuring out how I feel about other dogs. I’m a little nervous but somewhat curious, so we’re taking it slow. My friends will update you on my progress. I’m a handsome, alert, intelligent guy with a plumed tail, silky coat, and a zest for life. I love knowing what is going on around me, and I love to be at your feet or in your lap to make sure I’m privy to the latest gossip. I walk well on a leash and arrived at TALGV with a Chihuahua buddy, so I am probably okay with other dogs.
