What has four legs, a tail, and an adorable face? Me! I’m a young Lab mix female, and in my active world, if fun isn’t happening, I’ll make some. Of course, people do have rules about activities and I was too high-spirited in my first home, especially for the 1-year-old. (Their cat and I got along “all right.”) So now I’m doing something called “training,” and even that’s fun for me. Still in the puppy category (born in September 2017), I have lots of energy and lots to learn, although I already know that happy humans make for a happy home, so I’m going to try my very best to please. If you’re active, too—maybe even play fetch—we could have fun together for a long time to come. Shall we start today?

Moving here was a big surprise to my sister Oreo and me. We’d been with our people four years, ever since we were puppies, but when they moved out of state and couldn’t take us, we no longer had a home. Needless to say, that’s a scary predicament. When we arrived at TALGV, we just barked at strangers and huddled together. But things are getting better. The Den Mothers help a lot. They’re the volunteers who visit us regularly in The Den—the room here for little dogs. With their encouragement, we’re showing more of our true selves—bright, vivacious and spunky. We’re Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix females; I’m the tan and white one, 11 pounds, and if you could love a lively, attentive little dog like me, I’d be proud to be your devoted companion.

Biscuit is a playful and social 14-pound, 3-year-old male Cairn terrier mix that needs a new home due to family emergency. He is housebroken, crate trained, and loves walking on leash. He is okay with other dogs, cats, and children. Biscuit has been neutered, has a microchip, and is up to date with rabies shot (other shots needed). He is friendly to all, very smart, and loves to play with his rubber toys. There is no adoption fee for this special boy.
